I am not tooo fussy - All I ask from Naija producers is (1) a credible story line and (2) no fake accents. If this film has these little requirements, I will be a happy viewer!
The girls accent in the movie..is quite genuine..it is British...in the movie i think it is Omotola's voice that says "he is driving me to the tangent" shouldn't it be "he is driving me off the tangent" my biggest angst in these movies is when they have all these grammatical errors, and scream all over the place..if only they could refine the editing a little more...I also can no longer take the excessive nude and pornographic scenes...i dare not watch a Nigerian movie with any of my my children within a 50 feet radius, and this is very disheartening to me.
I couldn't even pay attention to whatever the story line is (which I don't think the trailer gave any indication of anyway)due to the fake accent. Come on Nigeria can we just embrace our accent already? no more phoney please

You are so right, Nina. And I will say your requirements ain't too much. Well, the Nigerian directors, producers and, editors should really go to school. Perhaps learn outside so they could really get it right. The writers should endeavor do the same thing; When a writer, have a deep knowledge about logline, theme, concept, outer and inner motivation of the protagonist and opponent in his created story, supporting characters, dialogue structure (economy & directness) dialogue text and subtext, he is able to churn out a unique and escalating story at the end of the day. The same thing applies to a director, when he has this knowledge, he is able to convey the writer's message well and make the story better, than the writer intended. That's their job anyway! And another thing is, good composition (shot design). The editors should really be conscious of picture and sound aesthetic. If they are, we will hear less grammatical error in our movies even when they are made during shooting. And we will see less of nude and pornographic scenes. Because there are better ways to convey this vast body of aesthetics crafts and technicality; when there is a source of knowledge for you to pull from. I met a guy of recent who claimed to be a cinematographer and did not even know what a key light is, when cinematographers, lights for: Modeling, Movement, and Mood. They should just please go to school! It will develop our motion picture here in Nigeria.

the producers think they sound amazing, especially to the rural areas who watch the movies.
