First Ladies of some states for world fashion award in China


First Ladies of Bayelsa, Benue and former first lady of Lagos, Mrs. Alayingi Sylva, Arch Yemisi Suswam and Chief Remi Tinubu are a few of the African continent that will be given special recognition awards by the World Fashion Organisation in Shanghai, China, for their contribution to the development and growth of the Nigerian fashion industry.

The awards will be given to the first ladies during the Shanghai Fashion Week 2010 scheduled for 21-24 Oct.

Great stuff, only our fashion industry hasn't developed much. But congrats on the award!

Awards for the contibution to fashion industry to Governors wives? I think awards for the contribution to the lives and development of the people of their respectives states would have been better. And come to think of it, they will use the states funds fof the trips. This is a clear case misplaced priority.
