Football Legend, Diego Maradona's 18-month reign as Argentina manager has come to an end after his country's football chiefs decided not to renew his contract. Maradona had a four-year contract that was supposed to continue through the 2014 World Cup.

I love Diego anyday. However, it was pay back time for the Argentinian FA. He treated them with contempt and it was time for them to retaliate. I wish him all the best of luck.
