NIGERIA'S NEXT TOP MODEL

How many of you have heard about this competition? I just heard about it now myself and I was surprised. I didn't know such a thing was going on in Nigeria. Does anyone know anything about this? I have no details whatsoever but I'll go digging to find out more. Unfortunately their website is disabled right now but I'll find a way to get details. I do know for sure that there's no advert about this in Nigeria, I wonder why that is.
If there's anyone who can give us details about this modeling competition, please do let us know.

If this is real, then it's a great thing to happen in this country. A really wonderful thing to happen! Great things are happenning in this country and I'm so proud to be a Nigerian. Things can only get better!!!

I heard the competition is gonna take place in london. I really don't know why they called it nigeria's next top model when the nigerians are actually in the diaspora. I still think it's a great stepping stone.

@anon. If this contest is really taking place in the UK, then I think that name is inappropriate. They shud have come home to put up that show. No wonder there's no talk about it here in Nig

U can get more info from Naijavixen(s). I've been hearing about it since last month here in UK. It's a shame really dat such an even isn't happening in naija. But i suppose they might have been thinking of sponsorship restraints in naija, u know how it is in our country na.

IF ITS NOT DONE IN NIGERIA, THEY SHOULD CHANGE THE NAME. THE ORGANIZERS MUST BE REALLY STUPID.

It is a great idea to have a Nigeria's Next Top Model show although I have not seen the it.I just have to say this to everyone involved in the show be "original". You have what it takes to shine but it would make no sense if its just xeroxed(COPIED)

beautiful girls... but they all look similar really.. i see no plus size.. no real variety... we don't all look like that.. that's for sure...

to meadows J! if you think they are stupid, why don't you try to organise one yourself. All the girls there are proper nigerian girls and a few of them were taken from Abuja into london. Well its not held in nija this year due to sponsor problems but if this show suceeds i'm very sure the next season will be held in Nija plus let's hope as usual the money bribe think will not get into it when it gets to nija.

@add. YOU MUST ALLOW OTHERS TO SAY WHATEVER THEY FEEL LIKE OK. MOVING ON, THE ORGANIZER EXPLAINED TO VIEWERS ON BEN TV WHY IT WAS BEING HOSTED IN THE UK, AND HER CLEVER ANWSER WAS ACCEPTABLE,PLUS SHE MENTIONED THAT THEY ARE BRINGING IT TO NAIJA NEXT YEAR. NOW THAT WOULD SUIT THE NAME OF THE COMPETETION.

i fink, if its for the 1st time, ideally it maes sense to host it in Nigeria? It makes no sense if its the first season and its not being done @ home??? Just like the Nigerian music Awards, that dint make sense either! I feel we need to be original, aint no need to do it abroad to be better, makes more sense to start at home and maybe if necessary the next few could be done outside nigeria. There are a lotta nice places in Nigeria to do this. But anyways, the reason why they're deciding to host it outside Nigeria is best known to them, but personally it seem like de best for something being done for the first time. I hope it turns out good though, the girls are really not looking bad though.

WEBSITE WAS DOWN FOR SO LONG HOW DO THEY SELL THE TICKETS. IT STARTED WORKING FINALLY BY THE 24TH OF APRIL.... JUST A FEW DAYS TO THE EVENT...WELL CAN'T SPEND MY £30.OO/ £55.00 ON SUCH. HAD A NASTY EXPERIENCE WITH THE NIGERIAN AWARDS, WHERE THERE WAS NO SHOW OF MOST OF THE PUBLICISED NAMES. WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT! EH!!

i think is is really stupid that there are hosting nja next top model in another country apart from home. I bet they are going to make it look like american next top model and i hope they do not insult their nationality.

eh nija next top model, it is unbelievable that such an important thing is going on in the uk and people back home are hardly aware. it is a shame on the organisers. And i can bet that more than half of the girls are resident in london.
