The mood was sombre at the forecourt of the State House in Accra on Friday morning where hundreds of mourners gathered to pay their last respects to late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama.
Major Mahama was lynched by a mob at Denkyria-Obuasi in the Central Region after he was mistaken for an armed robber. More photos after the cut.
