Unknown persons yesterday killed prominent Kano state indigine, Rabiu Ali Ahmed, as he made his way out of Hilton Hotel Abuja where he had gone to see one Professor. According to Rariya, it is uncertain whether this is a case of armed robbery or murder. Meanwhile his remains will be buried according to Muslim rites at his village in Kano state today February 10th.

Someone whom the wife called after the husband died narrated the incident to me. The wife was so shaken when they got to the mortuary to identify the corpse. He was so badly stabbed that my friend stopped the woman from seeing her husband's dead body. I dnt know them but tears flowed freely from my eyes b4 he could finish. Only God knows what happened but I believe it was armed robbers cos they said the attack happened around 12midnight. The father shifted the burial to today cos he couldn't come to terms with his son's death. RIP.
