The Nigeria Police Force has released all the arrested suspects in connection with the gruesome murder of 42 year old RCCG evangelist, Eunice Elisha, in Abuja on July 9th 2016. According to the FCT Police spokesman, ASP Anjuguri Manzah, the suspects were released because police investigation could not establish any evidence linking them to the murder of the late Evangelist. He however stated that the suspects were released on the condition that they will be called up for interrogation whenever the need arises. He said investigations into the matter is still ongoing.

Wow, really, even when she was killed in an open public road by a mob attack. the police couldn't find any suspect or established any evidence to prosecute someone.how can one get justice in this country. How can the family have any closure knowing that the killers are still out there. I really hope RCCG will fight this to get a sense of justice for her family, she was doing what the church mandated her to do, without that she wouldn't be at that place at that time. It's scary to know that you can be killed in public and nobody will be punish for it.

This is really unfortunate...
First the deeper life pastor s wife in kano, now the rccg woman in abuja, all same story. If the police can not build a solid case to prosecute the suspects well enough, given the preponderance of evidence, they should bring in better professional, private lawyer etc. One thing I have come to realize is that whenever a police officer is killed, in line of duty, by any criminal of whatever standing or repute, the police moves heaven and earth to expose and prosecute the suspect. But it is unfortunate that they are unable to bring in the same zeal, competence and resolve to prosecute other heinous crime of similar degree, perhaps because of who the victim is?. So they have no case? No murder weapon?, no dna taken from site of murder? No witness questioned?, no blind identification of suspect by witnesses in a line up?
On the other hand, RCCG and CAN should petition the IG, the Senate and the presidency for a review of the whole case. Somebody somewhere has to pay for their crimes, especially the murder in question, oherwise, people will continue killings others, it does mather wether its religion of other things, if they they would be let for lack of evidence, nay, police ineptitude.
