I heard this yestd also. They think it is business as usual in Igboland. The DPO at the LG HQ Urualla (a Northetner) dispatched a team of Policemen to Akokwa when he heard of the killing of the two ladies. Yhe policemen came, saw how the aboki butchered the women, the high agitation of Akokwa youths beating the abiki (almost dead) and the threat of the youths to them to give way.....they had to run to inform the hausas at the Orie Akokwa market to run for their lives. However, luck ran out of some that were finally killed and burnt by the irate youths. They even went to neighbouring villages searching, killing and burning any aboki in sight.
I know jungle justice is wrong but enough of all these. An average northerner is heartless, imagine the gut of slaughtering a woman in her own house bc she was makibg peace.
