In Governor Ambode’s words, “the LSETF was created to galvanize the creative and innovative energies of all Lagos residents and ultimately improve their standard of living.” It was formally inaugurated in March 2016, and over the last few weeks, people have been educated on what the fund is and how it works.
Because the LSETF is for EVERYONE
who lives in Lagos, the Board has decided to ask the people of Lagos how they
think the fund should be managed. They want Lagos residents to suggest how the
fund should be disbursed, fairly and transparently, who should get it and why.
So, if you want to get involved in how the #LSETF should work, click here to drop your comments. Join the conversation on Facebook on https://www.facebook.com/lsetfng/ or join
theTwitter and Instagram conversation by following @LSETF and viewing the
hashtag #OurLagosOurFunds.
In this period of economic downturn and unemployment, this initiative is simply wonderful. Congratulations Lagos residents.

People should be educated in small business management techniques firstly. Loan repayment is key for program continuity. Cooperative schemed are run with guarantors inhouse who will not be eligible for loan until their sponsors return all orvery tidy sums.
