14-month-old dies after dentist visit

The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners is investigating the death of a 14-month-old toddler who died after a dental visit.
It’s not clear exactly what happened to Daisy Lynn, but a family member said that she was getting cavities filled at Austin Children’s Dentistry on Tuesday.

According to Daisy Lynn Torres' mum's best friend, Rachel Robinson on the crowdfunding page she created:
"Daisy was taken to the Dentist in the morning for a routine cavity filling and under the advice of the dentist was put under anesthesia, when the unthinkable happened. Daisy quit breathing and was rushed by ambulance to a local hospital where despite efforts by the hospital staff, she passed away this morning. This was completely unexpected and has shattered this families world. Daisys mom, Betty would give anyone in need her last dollar and has been my best friend since the 6th grade. My heart is broken for her and my second family.
The child’s cause of death is pending the outcome of an autopsy.

A child's first dental visit is actually 6 months after birth... The family showed obvious dental awareness... Rip.. Visit your dentist every 6 months.

I had a terrible experience sometime ago in a dental clinic somewhere in Anthony. Sure this child could not survive the whole ordeal because of her tender age.
I had gone for scaling and polishing and filling but this female dentist spend almost an eternity poking my mouth with all kinds of materials till I became sore started losing breath, was sick for weeks and dread any revisit for refill of the second side till after a year. Was surprised that at the second visit met another dentist and had the same treatment but simply without the first ordeal. RIP CUTIE
