NO COUNTRY HELPS ANOTHER UNLESS THERE IS SOME FORM OF PERSONAL GAIN. Nigerians dont want to understand that developed nations are very competitive about economics and military. They spent decades buildind their lands with hardwork and ingenuity. Even nations like iran develop nuclear arms while the most we can do is bow and arrow.

Anonymous said...

Sai buhari. doing the right thing asking for help. I just hope we finally start investing in developing arms and munitions for our military one day bcuz If a war breaks out, countries dont sell guns to each other

now they believe America refused to sell weapons to Nigeria. Mr president fight your battle and stop crying like a baby. America cant fight for you. All they ever wanted is for African giant and Africa's biggest economy to be under their control cos they are predictions Africa will rule the world in many years to come and this is their biggest nightmare.

there must be strings oo. at worst g-strings

Is like we nor knw dis oyibo pple,- help u witout somethn in return..hmmmm. B4 d indepedence d whites came to africa claiming they r helping Africans bt dy knew wht dy gained frm us xpecially in nigerian.

Imagine wot a president of a country is asking for. America doesn't run a charity government like Nigeria. They run a government that operates according to their foreign policy and national interest. All the countries they help are countries they have interest in. You can only ask for them to make their conditions or consequence reasonable.

Anonymous said...

Too true🙌🏾. Develop my can only come from inside not from outside. 'Teach us how fish not give us fish' at least. Nigeria's habit of always asking for help just shows that the country is not ready to develop, also makes us look weak. Smh

Anonymous said...

Wats the begging inside. Its obvious you dont understand the difference between appeal and begging.

Anonymous said...

He is not ready to work yet. When he is we will know. How can you go to beg US and say no strings attached. In this life or the next one. He is still a learner. Nigeria can fight Boko haram without going to beg.

Unknown said...

We pray that nothing should be attached which is not possible. ...anyways lets keep our fingers crossed

Anonymous said...

Funny...because USA is a charity organization..foolish president..thinks we are still in d 60's... he wants billions and trillions of $ worth in fighting aid for FREE in his mind..iknew d BH fight will come to a alt after GEJ leaves office....Baba Go slow is actiing a script..all he really wants is amnesty or negotiation for his boiz but at d mercy of Nigerians..right nw,he's only scrambling how to carry out his devilish plans without being criticized..make una dey enjoy una #Change o....BH/ISIS for president

Anonymous said...

Is stupidity airborne now? Bcos the rate at which many stupid ppl just come on here to type rubbish is disturbing... Are you the President? Have you ever ruled a country before or have you ruled your stupid village before? Cos all of you claiming to know too much of Governance is becoming annoying. Let the President do is job. Either kneel and pray for the country or do your own part as a good citizen or simply kill yourself... I helped an old lady cross the road today... What did you do? Stupid ppl.

The only sensible comment I have seen here.

The majority of the comments I've seen here so far highlight the poverty mentality that is endemic to Nigerians. That mentality has made us a laughing stock of African affairs and continues to ruin Nigeria.

Nigerians, generally want something (from as many people as possible), while giving nothing in return (Cases in point: Nigerian girls, Nigeria Police, MMAirport Officials, State govts, etc).

The United States Government is not a charity, neither is it a babysitter. Nigerians love to claim Independence and 'Giant' of Africa (a giant basket case on a continent of basket cases in my opinion). Rather than try to develop 'Nigerian Made' solutions for 'Nigerian Made' issues, we chose to run to the US with our begging bowl asking for handouts, with "no strings attached". With corruption, we run to them for help. Ebola came, we ran there asking for assistance. Book Haram, the same thing. When will Nigeria grow up.

By the way, all these governors who went with Buhari, show that they honesty have no work to do in their states.

Do u think US is like Igbo people that always do "nothing goes for nothing"?

Boko Haram.. Baba go-slow is busy touring around while his boys keep maiming down innocent Nigerians on the streets. No singular effort to curtail the excesses. This is the Change he promised

Unknown said...

I siddon laugh Buhari.... U.S. To give u something with no strings, u must be day dreaming.. Wake up! Sai baba go-slow 👍

Elections are over, you better don't die of heart attack. Well, what's your life worth anyway?

Anonymous said...

Do you people think the strings he's talking about is money we're are obviously going to buy the weapons we just need them to supply it. So those of you saying US is not a charity clearly don't understand the Us wants something in return and its not money so you all need to have many seats
