Daily Mail & BBC apologize over Nigerian restaurant selling human flesh story
Over the weekend, a number of foreign media platforms reported that a restaurant in Anambra was shut down for selling human flesh (read here). Well, the originator of the report, BBC Swahili have retracted the story and apologized (see )here. Daily Mail also pulled the story down.
Dis news already caused wahala btw myself and my oyinbo racist flatmate. Always sending me negative stuff abt Nigeria but dis particular one wasn't funny. She had the balls to tell me to notify my family members in Nigeria before they send me human flesh as meat. I am still showing her pepper up until till now and will continue to. Bloody racist
Where are Nigeria's legal luminaries, such as, the SANs and the rest? Why can't they get together and SUE the ass off the BBC and all its affiliates? Someone needs to take the fraudelent BBC to the cleaners so next time around, they and their accomplices will think twice about disrespecting other peoples/cultures, particularly Africans as a whole.
Take it from me, this is South African people at work. They have been doing whatever it takes to re-direct attention from them since the xenophobia incident followed by the KFC incident. If this really is to be investigated, you'd see, this is their handwork. They must have paid someone at BBC Swahili to spread this lies. Sad part is, once something gets to the internet, that'sit. It can never be taken back.

So even big names like bbc too give fake news too.
This a great opportunity to sue and make some good cash. I hope the owners of the restaurant have this idea.

After shading the reputation of our country, nice they apologized.
Why can't they be sued already..
They wouldn't have taken it rightly if we meted same to them
That is not an apology. They are idiots. They only said it was incorrect

And a lot of people were throwing insults here and there.
All those that poured abuses on Anambra people and Igbo because of unverified stories should ask God for forgiveness
Human Being No Be God
They have succeeded in destroying that guys business. They must pay compensation
But Punchng and others copied and published same. We are a disgrace to ourselves.
Linda I expect to teach our journalists how to do it right.
This is so funny ...why must they apologise. ...anyway they have lost trust by 15% or even more .... now people will be sceptical of their stories
Very good, I had people talking to me funny yest about it
