President Jonathan, Buhari hold closed door meeting in Aso Rock
President Jonathan and General Buhari had a closed door meeting at the new Banquet hall in the President's office in Aso Rock earlier today. This will be the
first time the two will be meeting after the election. The reason for
their meeting has not yet been revealed.
GMB has won, we have heard. Change has come, we agree. The Nigerian Lee Kwan Yew has arrived. We welcome him. However, we expect to see this change PRONTO. Constant electricity in four years. WAEC pass rate should be 90%. In four years. There should be no more potholes on our roads. In four years. We shouldn't hear of crime. In four years. There must be no corruption in ANY sector of our public/private lives. The Naira should gain grounds against foreign currency(that one no favour me but I go still talk am). In four years. Fuel price should be N16. In four years. All of these and many more. In four years. To all those who rained abuses on GEJ and Patience in the name of campaign, all I ask is, be as critical of the incoming government as u were of GEJ's. Don't ask us if he's a magician oooo, after all, GEJ was no magician either. We will not hear the excuse that Nigeria's problems did not start with Buhari ooo. We will not hear that change takes time o. Let us judge him by the same yardsticks...after all, what is good for Nosa, is also good for Musa, abi? At the same time, we have not forgotten all the promises o. Stipends to the poorest families. Payment of 'allawee' to unemployed graduates. Feeding Nigerian students daily. When he made these promises, he knew about the country's reserves. He knew that the crude prices were falling. He said he would do it, and Nigerians believed him. We should watch carefully. How will he constitute his cabinet? What will his body language be towards bigwigs in his party that have been accused of corruption? How exactly does he intend to "pight kwaroption"? Four years is a long time. A lot can be done in four years, For the sake of our dear country, I sincerely hope that change has come.
Ok, I believe its for the progress of our nation. Its the easter season; Think His Love or Sink in Sin. Kindly click www.thepinkjournalng.blogspot.com.
New Beginning! I was left in tears when i read Presidents Goodlucks congratulatory message to Gen. Buhari I was not crying because i felt like crying, i was not crying cause i supported him and he lost, but i cried cause his words arrested my emotions. He wished his opponent a good administration ahead, he congratulated him and accepted defeat. I could remember by this time in 2011, Buhari never accepted that he lost, he promised Jonathan that he will make his administration ungovernable for him and he later fulfilled his promise. His supporters took to the streets and slaughtered innocent Nigerians but he never stopped the killings. But today, he has won that same man that defeated him in 2011 but got a congratulatory message instead of threats. He has wished him success and not promising him an ungovernable tenure. Few weeks to the election, the people we call our leaders were busy sending threats to themselves and leaving the poor masses gripped with fear. Some people left the country with fear of the aftermath of the election. But today you'v restored peace by accepting defeat peacefuly. Oh! Jonathan, you've shown us that you'r a good man. You'v shown African leaders the true definition of democracy. You wished not to influence the elections with your powers, you wished not to cancel the election when you can do it and nothing will happen. Posterity will never forget you where ever you go. I am still your fan for life. You'r a good and gentleman but sorrounded by ingrates and fools that care for their pockets alone. Oh Jona! You lost the election but won my heart....send it to all ur friends who believe in GEJ
Well I think the meeting is very necessary. An incumbent and a soon-to-be president having a close-door meeting equals ghen ghen smthg!
Are u in diaspora or outside Lagos and you want a sincere and reliable person to run an errand for you inside or around Lagos? Then look no further. Add us on BBM and we'd get it done for u.

Jonathan should please advise him on how to bring a true change that comes with no violence cos APC is a party known with violence. We Nigerians as individuals are the change we need. Let us change ourselves deep within cos the ordinary Nigerian man is corrupt without been in govt, all ethnic groups should see themselves as one. Then Nigeria is on the right course for change and not by expecting a man to give nigeria a change that Nigerians are not ready for. GMB please ensure less blood shed.
"a character or person, who, in the face of danger and adversity or from a position of weakness, displays courage or self-sacrifice"
Another source defines it thus:
"a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal"
Unless Ezekwesili has a different definition of a hero different from the above, then I beg to disagree with her.
For promising to conduct a free and fair election without interfering in the process, and keeping his words: that makes him a hero
Think for a second what would have become of last Saturday's election had the president lost his calm after the card reader failed to capture him and kept him waiting in the sun for over thirty minutes, moreso when his party had advised against the use of the card reader. Had he stormed out of that polling booth, that would have been the end of election that day, and the consequences could only have been imagined. For maintaining his cool in the face of that, he is a hero
For calling GMB and congratulating him(something GMB never did in 2011 and can never do), and thereby averting "goons and baboons" being soaked in blood, he is a hero
For telling his party not to bother contesting the outcome of the election in court to avoid distracting the incoming president, he is a hero
Hate him as much as you choose to do, Mrs Ezekwesili, you cannot take this glorious moment from him. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has set a standard for democracy, not only in Nigeria, but also in Africa. The man is a true democrat and, indeed, our national hero!
Anonymous April4 12:46, you are indeed a foolish human being, I don't care who you are, you crazy I swear u are, how will you say Apc is a violent party, Pls prove it, I can see how violent you are you self, well done jawe jonathan, just have it in mind u will still account for everything you done so far.
You people never seize to amaze me! GMB is not and will never be our messiah of saviour! y'all should take it down 100 notches with this #Change thing! he's still hanging around the same pack of thieves and corrupt men!!! Change ain't gonna come that way! If Obasanjo, Tinubu, Atiku, etc... are still in his 'cabal' nothing will change! and your comment is quite ignorant just as the lady before you commented!!
Yes oooooo....PDP think that they can fool us by telling us that Buhari is bad and will Islamize Nigeria. I Love GMB. he is my man anytime any day. With all there stupid blackmail, God still pass them.
GEJ,I knw dat one day Nigerians will see the moses they let go because of sentiment..I will never remove your pictures in my office, you will always be my president....to all those nigerians dat abuse him, never you complain about this government, to GMB will give 4years to get everything done..let us not hear dat we will continue in our second tenor,to all the northerners that single handed gave GMB win,pls get educated and remove sentiment, to fr.Mbaka, throughout this 4years I don't want to see you in the news talking abt dis government or beta still run 4 the seat...to all nigerians, sit down, tighten your seat belt and enjoy d ride,#dontcomplain let buhari pight kwaruption and change Nigeria in 4 years let's see.
