Popular actor and model, Joseph Benjamin has commended Nigeria’s up and coming
Nollywood actress cum producer, Lisa Omorodion over the outcome of her first
movie production, ‘First Cut’.
Joseph Benjamin who played a lead role in the movie said no better words other than ‘biggest miss of the year’ could be used to describe the experience of anyone who misses out on the thrilling and educative movie which is scheduled to hit the cinemas come January 23, 2015.

The
popular actor said “First Cut is a great movie. I could not believe it is
Omorodion’s first attempt at production; the outcome is a great product. So
much work was put into it and having Chico Ejiro direct it, and people like
Bobby Obodo makes it a great mix’.
First
Cut is a theatrical blend of morals, fashion, education, information and
professionalism in film-making and production directed by Chico Ejiro;
featuring plots with collections of suspense, emotions, neglect, sex,
insecurity, parenting, abuse, trauma and other psychological elements.
The
movie narrates the story of KC Morgan, the central character, played by the
producer herself, Lisa Omorodion; a character respected by many yet suppressed
by trauma. Her own painful secret which threatens to shatter the new life she
has created for herself; the central character’s woes were multiplied by her
loved ones who continue to inflict pains on her.
First
Cut embodies Nollywood stars of exemplified competence, mastery, class and real
professionalism like Monalisa Chinda and Bobby Obodo.
Joseph
Benjamin, said ‘We need good movies like First Cut to give us reality check.
There are many deeper things to talk about other than love; yes, we need love
but our being isn’t just about love’.
