Musician Wunmi Obe held a Night of Tribute for her late Jaiye Aboderin yesterday Saturday Dec. 13th in Lagos. Lagbaja, Yinka Davies and many other celebs attended the evening put together to remember him. Jaiye slumped and died on December 3rd 2004 while playing basketball with friends. He was married to actress Stella Damasus and left behind two daughters. I met Jaiye twice before he passed and I remember thinking he was such a nice, friendly guy. May his soul continue to rest in peace...amen.
