Blackberry is a great phone for great mind (Executives). What I love about blackberry is the fact that some of its models still maintain the QWERTY keypad or its variants, its high security of contents, and the BBM. For the Blackberry passport I love the Blackberry Blend, where I can continue my work even on my desktop and other devices, I can chat on my BBM even while working in the office, and also the wide screen for viewing details, drawings, and large documents, I will no longer have issues using my excel on the phone. The blackberry assistant for sending SMS, calling etc, Its 13 megapixel snapper for perfect pictures, Just to mention a few. dadp007@yahoo.com

I like blackberry phones because it is very handy and portable,it comes in different size and varieties, which gives the user options to choose. It has a very sharp movie & picture display that doesn’t affect the eyes.
A very soft keyboard, that doesn't require much pressure to operate and shortcut to access other features faster. The User Interface which helps in image viewer for image project resources, a document management feature that structures files in a consistent fashion. The Software which gives the best security when compare with other phones without having fear of security breach, it has a very fast processor with a very good battery life span that can last long. Blackberry has the best wide area network coverage that makes connectivity very easy, irrespective of the location. Finally, it gives the best service in terms of internet subscription (BIS), which is made monthly and not as use.

I’m finally getting excited about a BB product. It’s beautiful and the qwerty keypad invites some touches. I really hate an android or ios keyboard popping up and occupying a quarter of the screen. I don’t mind trying this out at all. My only worry is apps. Apps have become a part of my life. If it could support android play store app, that will be a complete winner for me....thank you linda, merry christmas in advance

BlackBerry is one of the best phones one can think of having. It is durable with high quality camera pictures and videos, it has one of the best chat applications. It is fast and easy to browse with the help of its smart touch and QWERTY keyboards that make it outstanding among other smartphones. It is sleek, affordable and has unlimited internet bundle plans and lowest internet subscription fee unlike other smartphones. Blackberry is a very intriguing concept that has become an indispensible tool in my daily routine. Over the past 5yrs of using blackberry it has given me a reason to stick with the brand, beating the competition in many areas such as security, browser speed and message handling. It has allowed me to do my job effectively and each model of blackberry came with improvements. I also know that it is the phone the German and American president use. What a solid brand! I love my Blackberry! Okoronkwotochukwu24@gmail.com

Of all the brouhaha said about BlackBerry in the past months, one would think that by end of 2014, iOS and Android would have buried BlackBerry in the phone market.
Unfortunately,it keeps soaring higher and hitting the market with ever increasing options and improvements.
BlackBerry offers powerful navigation buttons and clever keyboard that makes for a great reading and editing experience.
With enough apps, it gives iOS and Android a very great competition.
As a Nigerian, Blackberry is fast in terms of browsing and data download. With an amazing data compression, subscription is cheaper especially for business minded guys like me.
With so many security features, it ranks as one of the most secured phones. Other features like video calls and battery life have been constantly improved.
BlackBerry, Oh! my BlackBerry.

More efficient internet structure: BB provides access to an unlimited internet data plan and at the least it provides more internet data at a lower cost than any other phone brand.BB pioneered this structure

More efficient mail structure: BB provides the most robust and easy to use email structure, due to competiton bw google and yahoo, Yahoo mail is sometimes inefficient on andrioid phones. Also other phone brands require more settings for uncOmmon emails unlike BB. BB pioneered easy access to emails.

Most dynamic chat system. BBM redefined chatting on phone and created the platform for whatsapp to enter. At a point people were so used to BBM dat it became a phenomenon, people cud literally be sleeping and chattin on BBM. BBM pioneered so much chat innovations like; no login required, sending of pix n voice, etc

Now some of the inefficiencies of BB had been battery life and slow system processors. This has however been addressed with the Z10 and Q10.

So the BB can be an only phone and you won't be missing out on anytin. But if you make an android or iphone an only phone u wud be missing out on the BBM as well as a very efficient and timely email structure.

For me it's The efficiency of the messaging system as well as fluidity of the OS. The seamless (read button-less) interaction with the phone just feels right. The whole screen is one big button on a touch device yet other companies still need a home button... Battery life is a big thing as well.... For me having the option to use flash is a big one. I'm not huge on apps and like to use the browser for a lot of what I do instead of getting a dedicated app, so being able to stream a hockey game in flash on the CBC website is a nice plus for me....The system doesn't bog or hang with multiple apps open and it just works as it should. The one downside (can I even call it that?) to the new OS and peek/flow management style is people need to learn it to appreciate it.
I forget how capable this device is sometimes. HDMI out, mirracast, android runtime, flash, USB OTG .I love the in-app message displays that 10.2 brought in. The hub in general does an amazing job "attempting" to develop some kind of order to the dozen email, chat, text, social media services that bombard people with messages daily. However I still contend that the Q10 is the best smartphone Ive ever owned
Typing on the Z10 is amazing and I love how fast I can pound out email and text...
I'm a corporate user of the BlackBerry and that's what sets it apart .I'm a full supporter of BlackBerry for all these reasons. Thanks...deppeerless@gmal.com

Uche is my name and I am currently using BB Curve. If I begin to describe all the benefits I derive from using my device; the whole of Linda Ikeji’s blog wont contain my write ups… lol.

Actually, Blackberry is outstanding as far as internet connection is concerned. I started using blackberry device in 2010, and ever since then, I don’t think I can EVER use any other phone apart from blackberry. I derive lots of benefits from using my lovely device.

Friends, if you are not on blackberry world, hmmmm… I pity you oo… You dey miss plenty plenty things wey other phone no fit offer u.

My internet connection is the bomb, I’m always online without any worry of running out of MB. The color display fantastic, my camera coupled with it’s geo tagging is awesome, talking about the battery life; my goodness, the battery last longer than expected.

Infact everything about my Blackberry is unique. If there is anything like Blackberry TV or radio, I will get one for myself… I guess I’ll have to take a pause here. ***Smiles***

The Blackberry interface is the most friendly operating system, even my mother would not switch to android or ios. Also the calling addon in the BBM is a wonderful thing cheap call over data to my friends while we chatting to give the conversation more life and emotion. Blackberry is the most trusted smart phone for me because all my files can be backed up on my personal computer and looks just like my regular contact bio information also i can be sure of my battery life and also use the emergency 112 option to boost my battery to make a few last operation before the battery finally goes to rest. The media player allows me to download and play and format of audio and video. With my blackberry i feel like i only not have a phone but i also have storage device with me, because i can easily plug it into any computer and store a file in my phones memory card, who takes a flash drive around when you have you blackberry. the black berry charger is the most popular charger, i can forget my charger at home and be sure when i get to work i would have several option to charge my phone.

BlackBerry Passport's screen size will make it ideal for looking at everything from schematics to x-rays, word documents and spreadsheets. Of course it's also going to make the handset ideal for web-browsing

The Passport will run the BB 10.3 operating system. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM, specifications which are comparable to phablets in Samsung's Galaxy Note range.

Internal memory is shaping up to be 32GB with space to expand this with a micro SD card slot (up to 64GB).

Battery life

The Passport packs a large 3450mAh battery life, and BlackBerry is touting a battery life of around 30 hours for power users that browse the web, take calls and access multimedia content using the device.

Whilst testing out a pre-production device, blackberrypassport handset retained 15 per cent battery life after 16 hours of usage.

Early impressions

So far the blackberry passport has been the only publication to get extended time with the Passport. Although it looks like it could take users a while to get used to the unique design and keyboard, conclusions have been positive.

“It fits in dress shirt pockets and you can hold it with one hand. You just need two hands to use it. The battery lasts forever and the screen is a breath of fresh air for the 'cramped' Q10 users,” CrackBerry noted.

“The phone (if we can call it that) is meant for executives and serious businessmen who will now do more on their BlackBerry smartphones.”

With BlackBerry managing to retain customers in the enterprise market, the release of a truly big screen device is likely to be welcomed by those who still crave a physical keyboard.

Apps

Blackberry Passport 10.3 users will have access to software offered by the Amazon App Store, to broaden the range of services at their fingertips.

this means users should have access to "hundreds of thousands" of additional apps, including consumer offerings such as Minecraft, Pinterest and Cut The Rope 2.

Meanwhile, they'll also be given the chance to download one free, and upload article in cloud

With BlackBerry 10.3 it is EVEN easier to install Android applications on your BlackBerry Passport because all the .BAR converting is done on device, saving you oodles of time. This is a brand new feature of BB10.3 and the long and short of this new ability is this: access to Google Play. I know, amazing! All you need to do is download SNAP and you’re away. That’s it. Simple –– and it also pretty much solves the whole app-gap problem, too.

With over 400,000 applications, you will easily find the right tool for your business, leisure time, travel, entertainment, health etc. Now this is what we call communication simplified from the Blackberry World.

Though I am not a fan of camera. But then with Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, Skype, you can take professional photos and selfies to share with your friends and loved ones with ease.

Also Blackberry always churn out its new phones with the users in mind.

Blackberry; against other phones with the same processor speed, the blackberry smartphone still has a faster internet because of its ability to compress data, thereby giving you same quality of web page only with a smaller amount of data when in comparison with other smartphones. The 3 major reason why I love BlackBerry are: 1 BB HUB: with the introduction of HUB in BB Apps, users can reply their msg without opening so many apps. Its the best for someone who is always on the move. 2 BB OS: BB uses QNX- a reliable microkernel (multitasking) OS that enables app run in their own space at same time. BB 10 never crashes( u can make calls, minimize it and stiil have ur apps active and running) QNX is also used in space jet and Nuclear station. 3 SECURITY: U cannot hack a BB with security server that US defense and all G7 countries still classify BB as their highest priority phone. With all these, that's y I still stick to BB till date. dnk_lindy@yahoo.com.

I have read a lot of post about Androids been better than BB. However I have been oportuned to have used all brands of phones. And I still prefer BB, expecially in here in Nigeria I can say categorically that BB remains the best. My reasons are because of its efficiency on Internet structure, it provides access to an unlimited data plan at a very low rate, therefore making it possible for every one to use. Unlike the other androids phone. It provides easy use of email ,u can have all ur email logged on at the same time, no matter the amount of email accounts u have they all can be logged on at the same time, it  alerts u when u have a new mail. due to the competition going on between Google and yahoo, yahoo mail sometimes is inefficient on android phones. BB has the most dynamic chat systems, BBM gave platform for apps like WhatsApp to surface and every other one that followed. BB changed the face of communication all over the universe. At a point people became addicted to their BBM that it became a phenomenon. The excitement it brings it's priceless, it's the one phone that can literally keep u awake all night long....lol. BBM pioneered so much chat innovations, no login required, u can send pictures and voice note etc.so BB can be the only phone in the world and u won't be missing out on anything. My points are BB phones changed the face of communication, it's affordable, it's Easy to maintain, no limitations to who can use it, both the rich and poor benefits from the it. Another amazing thing about BB is the Appworld. I remember loosing my phone, yeah it was painful but I had comfort knowing everything I had on that phone was secured. All I did was buy another BB logged into my Appworld and opened my blackberry protect and I was able to retrieve all my documents, everything I had on the other phone I recovered immediately. Because with BlackBerry protect all ur information and documents are backed up every 24hrs. Another point we shouldn't forget blackberry was the first smart phone. They made communication cheap and easy, brought the world together. In summary BB phones are easy to maintain, it's affordable to everyone, easy to use, it practically compels it's owners ti use it. There are no cases of putting off mobile data, out of fear of ur data been consumed. It's on 24/7, keeps u updated of news around the world. U get ur important and urgent messages on time. I would pick a BB phone over other android phones anytime any day. BB phones are simply the best. I rest my case. Ify2nite@yahoo.com

Blackberry phone is my best phone because its features and other features I did not mention here like blackberry assistant, maps and many more with an improved battery duration while using blackberry phones. ceokenchi@yahoo.com

I have used a BBcurve 2 for over 4 years now. In that period, it has been a loyal and reliable friend. It never had any technical issues, no damage, provides bbm, email and other social media services efficiently and best of all, it is cheap compared to touch screens. MY wife got me a Samsung S5 bcos she was tired of seeing the BBcurve but till date, the curve remains my primary phone. It gets the job done, no hassels. This is what we professional men like. BB gets the job done. badesuyi@yahoo.com

Blackberry is the best phone i've used. Bold 5 is very easy to operate, cheaper data bundle and fast Internet. BlackBerry 10 series phones are compatible, small, fast Internet service, ability to open and use different applications at once only by minimizing them, user friendly operating system, and you don't necessarily have to check for update. It let's you know when an application is due upgrade. Availability of video and audio conferencing. Understandable QWERTY keys. Ability to download other applications form blackberry world. Durable battery power. It also connects a saved contact with the facebook profile, twitter handle and what app contact. Can accommodate more than a thousand contacts and more than 30 other applications in the phone. Has WiFi connection, NFC, Internet Tethering, VPN, mobile Hotspot and lots more. It has other applications like blackberry protect, story maker, blackberry blend etc...ability to add more than one E-mal address and receive various mails. Ability to restore old contacts by using your blackberry ID and password and also ability to retrieve old password. I hope I have been able to prove that blackberry is the best smart phone and I am considered for this give away. E-mail address is caringjasmine@yahoo.com and caringjasmine@gmail.com

Why I like Blackberry is because its available in five form factors which includes; small keyboard, large keyboard, no keyboard, flip phone, and candy-bar.
Blackberry phones are unbeatable when it comes to security. The led-light indicator is a very unique thing about blackberry phones which makes you know whether your battery is low,new message,blue-tooth on and the likes. The picture quality is superb. Most Blackberries have keyboards, so you can actually type fast and with no errors. Helps while driving, walking, carrying something in your other hand. Blackberry is not so expensive and it is available everywhere in the world. It has a MicroUSB connector for synchronization/charging. Blackberry is so diverse and creative combining all the blackberry models produced. Blackberry has expandable memory and the battery is removable. Blackberry also allows programs to multitask and it allows communicating peer-to-peer via PIN identifier, using the email system. All major instant messengers are available on Blackberry including the most interesting of them all...BBM which was produced by this same blackberry. Blackberry is available with multiple browsers and it synchronizes with iTunes and every other media management program. Subscription is way cheaper compared to other phones and it also have video calling which can be be used for Skype . I love blackberry so much...not to talk about this bb passport which is awesome for business purposes.

What's there not to like about a blackberry phone. I particularly like the fact that I can backup my contacts(phone numbers) on blackberry protect and have them restored to another blackberry phone when I change phones. And the affordable subscription thanks to the special compression server used by RIM.. Muiz Ariori (muizariori@yahoo.com).
