Blackberry has always been my choice of phone. It has all the apps that makes life easy 4 me, my family and my business. I started with curve 2 and presently I am using bold 6. I have always been informed through my blackberry concerning all the happenings in the world. It limits my spending on data bundle and it is portable to handle. I have heard of the wonderful functions embedded on the newer versions of blackberry and I really need an upgrade right now. You will make my day if I am the lucky winner.

Hmmm.
Let's start with some basics that some may not be aware of or have forgotten.The processor in bb is snappy. Also unlike other fones, d bb has a high RAM, wch mks a big difference in everyday use, especially if you have a lots of apps installed and tend to keep many open. Has a gud megapixel camera to tk better pictures even in dark areas. Has larger display and a high GPS, gud resolution and triangulation method functioning very well.
Overall the bbdevice is great,. The form factor is awesome, the OS is snappy (no need to be on pins and needles waiting for an updated OS to leak), it takes solid pictures, battery life is great, touch-sensitive trackpad which is just amazing. If you haven't held one or haven't given it a second look due to specs, you really should because you may find you are missing out on a great bb device all because it's "seemingly" not up to par with other brand phones. In my humble opinion, the BB device is a great mobile tool for social, academic and other websites. It also has a high RAM wch makes a big difference in everyday use, especially if you have a lot of apps installed and tend to keep many open.Overall the blackberry device is great,. The form factor is awesome, the OS is snappy (no need to be on pins and needles waiting for an updated OS to leak). Sincerely I was among the set of people that said I won't ever use a blackberry.. but late last 2 yrs I was given one... cus of the cheaper subscriptions I cud download and download and talking about videos that I love I noticed my BlackBerry gave me a higher quality compare to oda fones.. and swapping anoda BlackBerry my broda thought me how to switch my contacts without writing it on phonebook.. that's all including my bbm contacts and even my applications which no oda fone can do... and I also learn how to type faster with the keypad which is COOL... WHAT I LIKE ABOUT BLACKBERRY
(1) The Blackberry HUB: This is one of the reasons i like BlackBerry, in here all your communications and notifications are centrally gathered. It does not just notify you of an incoming communication, the Hub also allows you to take an action like comment, reply, delete and more. Unlike an Android device in which you have to tap every notification, open it in its corresponding App to see it fully and then take an action. With the BlackBerry hub, you could simply click on the search icon and you find anything in any conversation in less than a second.
Peeking into the Hub made easy, in which you could simply slide your finger up from the lower bezel of the device, and there all your communications put together for your easy access in your Blackberry Hub.
(2) Easy Unlock: Here is another reason i like BlackBerry, especially the Blackberry 10, Android devices now use a power/unlock button to wake the device up, which this was nice to have back in 2010, when physical buttons were normal and phones were smaller. Which made the top or side buttons easy to reach. Its no longer the case!.
BlackBerry 10 made a difference in its unlock pattern, whereby you simply slide your finger from bottom bezel of the device towards the top of the screen and your phone is unlocked. The Gesture is simple and intuitive, its also smooth and sensitive enough to be triggered by your finger but not inside a pocket or a bag.
(3) Time Shift in camera: also part of the reasons I like BlackBerry, the time shift on Blackberry 10, can be described as a mix of Samsung's best photo and best face in one. Basically when the mode(time shift) is activated on the blackberry 10, the device captures five frames before and five frames after you press the screen, along with the middle frame. You can then pick the best photo. Whats even better is that if your photo involves people, you can select the best facial expressions for each persons from any of the eleven frames along with the best background. The software merges your choice together to create a perfect picture.
(4) Great Keyboard: The only reason I like BlackBerry on this aspect is that, you could easily switch to symbols keyboard with one swipe, talking about the new versions of blackberries,. This is lot more fluid to me than finding the symbol button and clicking it.
It quite welcomed in countries like Lebanon, where typing transliterated Arabic requires a lot of numbers to replace the missing phonetical letters in the latin alphabet. You simply swipe, find the number and continue with the rest of your word. It simple, fast and lot less disruptive than locating a small button and pressing it, or long pressing it in a letter to get to the number.
(5) Thoughtfulness of the developers: This is the last of my reasons why I like BlackBerry. Is that when entering your password, the keyboard automatically adds a number row on top of the letters. Tiny details like this tells you or makes you realize how thoughtful the developers are, because, most secure passwords are letters plus number based. So it makes lot of sense to have a number row ready when entering a password.
Conclusion: i hope with all this i have been able to pass across the reasons i like BlackBerry and proved myself worthy of owning one of your BlackBerry passport. Thank you and God bless.

Blackberry is truly a classic phone yet simple....its business savvy,its camera features are amazing,its instant push delivery messages makes me really awe...it cut across every class or level/walks of life e.g is it the businessman,the classy gentleman,the chic stylish lady,the student,etc jst mention it!...there are still many more features that i didn't mention....what i love the most is the low cost of connecting with the internet!for someone like me that needs the internet 24/7...u can imagine ow i feel!...its no wonder i av unknowingly become an advertiser of blackberry phones to friends....lol

I have a lot n several reasons for using blackberry which include;
1) Physical Keyboard:
In the early years of the BlackBerry, all handsets had a full QWERTY physical keyboard rather than limiting text entry to a numerical keypad or a touch screen's virtual keyboard. The physical keyboard was a major advantage for businesspeople who sent a lot of messages and emails. Manufacturers Research In Motion experimented with touch screens but, in early 2014, announced it would predominantly use physical keyboards in future handsets.
2)Enterprise Server:
BlackBerry has an Enterprise Server system that allows users to send and receive emails from a business account in a secure format, synchronizing with their work computer. Emails are transmitted on a push basis, meaning they are actively sent to the phone like a text, rather than forcing the user to manually log in to an account and check for messages. The Enterprise Server system allows company IT staff tight controls over the kinds of access users have to read and edit company data through both email and other applications.
3) BlackBerry Messaging
BlackBerry handsets allow for instant text message communication with other BlackBerry users, with no per-message charge. Messaging works by PIN rather than phone number, meaning you can let acquaintances message you while reserving your phone number for close friends or colleagues.

Blackberry phone has a strong battery life span, fast browser, quite affordable and you can always find a blackberry phone to buy that fits into your budget, good picture quality, in fact, I call my blackberry "my modem" because I can use it for anything.

Blackberry is a get things done phone. It was originally designed as a business friendly device. Part of my allure is that Blackberry is known for being secure, it encrypt messages which makes me comfortable sharing sensitive docs over the phone.
About the keyboard:
I like how the plastic are raised, how the shift key is as easy to use as those on a computer keyboard. I really admire how RIM has really gone to great length to raise plastic in certain ways on the keys. Its like my guitar frets. My hand naturally knows where to go and where to be. There is familiarity with the keyboard that I can type more words in minutes without necessarily looking @ the keypads. Its really nice how the buttons stick up and I can really feel that CLICK. To me it's adorable
About the red light:
On the top right of every blackberry, there's a little red light and it blinks at you when a new message or call comes in. I am so addicted to that light whenever the light blinks, I jump. Its my connection to my people, my world in terms of news and especially when their is a new message uploaded on Linda ikeji blog. It's really one of the features that calls me back to blackberry.
In conclusion, blackberry is good for productivity and I can describe my blackberry as business in the front, party at the back, blackberry seemed so much straight laced and serious than other smart phones.

BlackBerry Q10 for instance enables me to easily assess Linda ikeji's blog, bella naija, twitter, instagram, whatsapp, and many other interesting apps. BlackBerry keyboards are also the best keyboards I've ever used, they make communication very easy. You can depend on your blackberry for emails, and you have the option to create as many emails as possible. BlackBerry phones also possess high camera quality, blackberry Tour for instance has a 3.2MP camera with flash and auto focus. BlackBerry decices can record videos, take photos, play music, Web browse, and email messages, among many others. The blackberry messenger which is the heart of every blackberry phones is fast, simple and connects you to the rest of your contact at all times. In a nutshell, I would advice anyone to use a blackberry phone because it is the best phone I have ever used.

I was introduced to Blackberry in late 2012, but because I hadn’t enough money, I bought a fairly used Blackberry Bold 9700. Ever since I started using the Blackberry (Still using it), I have enjoyed:
• A more efficient internet structure. I surf the internet with ease and with an affordable data plans. This cannot be easily achieved in other phone brands.
• Blackberry has provided me with the most dynamic Chat systems and social media networks. Chat systems and social media networks like, but not limited to BBM, Whatsapp, Facebook, LinkedIn, LIB, Nairaland, saharatv, and channelstv are easily accessed with Blackberry.
• Blackberry has a more efficient mail system when compared to other phone brands. Blackberry provides the most robust and easy to use Email structure. Other phone brands need more uncommon settings to access emails.
• Blackberry is the most reliable phone to the business class.
• Blackberry phones are rugged. My Blackberry Bold 9700, had fallen a countless number of times, but I tell you, it is in a perfect shape and working condition.
• My Blackberry provides me with a platform via Blackberry World to source whatever I want, ranging from but not limited to Games, Apps, Themes, Blogs, My world and My BB Account.
• With Blackberry Desktop Software, I can easily backup my files, contacts, Applications, and synchronize with my PC. Recovery of lost files or data is also made easy via BB Desktop Software. This is not the same with other phone brands.
• Blackberry phones are easy to fix when things go wrong. It is not as complex as the IPhones.
• Finally, Blackberry phones can be made to look “Jazzy”. That is, they can be made to appear in different colours, forms and styles.

Blackberry is the most sophisticated smart phone that no android phone can never meet it feature. It is incomparable.
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT BLACKBERRY
(1) The Blackberry HUB: This is one of the reasons i like BlackBerry, in here all your communications and notifications are centrally gathered. It does not just notify you of an incoming communication, the Hub also allows you to take an action like comment, reply, delete and more. Unlike an Android device in which you have to tap every notification, open it in its corresponding App to see it fully and then take an action. With the BlackBerry hub, you could simply click on the search icon and you find anything in any conversation in less than a second.
Peeking into the Hub made easy, in which you could simply slide your finger up from the lower bezel of the device, and there all your communications put together for your easy access in your Blackberry Hub.
(2) Easy Unlock: Here is another reason i like BlackBerry, especially the Blackberry 10, Android devices now use a power/unlock button to wake the device up, which this was nice to have back in 2010, when physical buttons were normal and phones were smaller. Which made the top or side buttons easy to reach. Its no longer the case!.
BlackBerry 10 made a difference in its unlock pattern, whereby you simply slide your finger from bottom bezel of the device towards the top of the screen and your phone is unlocked. The Gesture is simple and intuitive, its also smooth and sensitive enough to be triggered by your finger but not inside a pocket or a bag.
(3) Time Shift in camera: also part of the reasons I like BlackBerry, the time shift on Blackberry 10, can be described as a mix of Samsung's best photo and best face in one. Basically when the mode(time shift) is activated on the blackberry 10, the device captures five frames before and five frames after you press the screen, along with the middle frame. You can then pick the best photo. Whats even better is that if your photo involves people, you can select the best facial expressions for each persons from any of the eleven frames along with the best background. The software merges your choice together to create a perfect picture.
(4) Great Keyboard: The only reason I like BlackBerry on this aspect is that, you could easily switch to symbols keyboard with one swipe, talking about the new versions of blackberries,. This is lot more fluid to me than finding the symbol button and clicking it.
It quite welcomed in countries like Lebanon, where typing transliterated Arabic requires a lot of numbers to replace the missing phonetical letters in the latin alphabet. You simply swipe, find the number and continue with the rest of your word. It simple, fast and lot less disruptive than locating a small button and pressing it, or long pressing it in a letter to get to the number.
(5) Thoughtfulness of the developers: This is the last of my reasons why I like BlackBerry. Is that when entering your password, the keyboard automatically adds a number row on top of the letters. Tiny details like this tells you or makes you realize how thoughtful the developers are, because, most secure passwords are letters plus number based. So it makes lot of sense to have a number row ready when entering a password.
Conclusion: i hope with all this i have been able to pass across the reasons i like BlackBerry and proved myself worthy of owning one of your BlackBerry passport. Thank you and God bless.

At a point people were so used to BBM dat it became a phenomenon, people cud literally be sleeping and chattin on BBM. Now some of the inefficiencies of BB had been battery life and slow system processors. This has however been addressed with the Z10 and Q10.
So the BB can be an only phone and you won't be missing out on anytin. But if you make an android or iphone an only phone u wud be missing out on the BBM as well as a very efficient and timely email structure.

three reasons I wouldn’t switch my BlackBerry for an iPhone: the red indicator light, the physical keyboard and BBM.

What I like about Blackberry Phones:
I was introduced to Blackberry in late 2012, but because I hadn’t enough money, I bought a fairly used Blackberry Bold 9700. Ever since I started using the Blackberry (Still using it), I have enjoyed:
• A more efficient internet structure. I surf the internet with ease and with an affordable data plans. This cannot be easily achieved in other phone brands.
• Blackberry has provided me with the most dynamic Chat systems and social media networks. Chat systems and social media networks like, but not limited to BBM, Whatsapp, Facebook, LinkedIn, LIB, Nairaland, saharatv, and channelstv are easily accessed with Blackberry.
• Blackberry has a more efficient mail system when compared to other phone brands. Blackberry provides the most robust and easy to use Email structure. Other phone brands need more uncommon settings to access emails.
• Blackberry is the most reliable phone to the business class.
• Blackberry phones are rugged. My Blackberry Bold 9700, had fallen a countless number of times, but I tell you, it is in a perfect shape and working condition.
• My Blackberry provides me with a platform via Blackberry World to source whatever I want, ranging from but not limited to Games, Apps, Themes, Blogs, My world and My BB Account.
• With Blackberry Desktop Software, I can easily backup my files, contacts, Applications, and synchronize with my PC. Recovery of lost files or data is also made easy via BB Desktop Software. This is not the same with other phone brands.
• Blackberry phones are easy to fix when things go wrong. It is not as complex as the IPhones.
• Finally, Blackberry phones can be made to look “Jazzy”. That is, they can be made to appear in different colours, forms and styles.

More efficient mail structure: BB provides the most robust and easy to use email structure, due to competiton bw google and yahoo, Yahoo mail is sometimes inefficient on andrioid phones. Also other phone brands require more settings for uncOmmon emails unlike BB. BB pioneered easy access to emails.
Most dynamic chat system. BBM redefined chatting on phone and created the platform for whatsapp to enter. At a point people were so used to BBM dat it became a phenomenon, people cud literally be sleeping and chattin on BBM. BBM pioneered so much chat innovations like; no login required, sending of pix n voice, etc
Now some of the inefficiencies of BB had been battery life and slow system processors. This has however been addressed with the Z10 and Q10.
So the BB can be an only phone and you won't be missing out on anytin. But if you make an android or iphone an only phone u wud be missing out on the BBM as well as a very efficient and timely email structure.

It does not just notify you of an incoming communication, the Hub also allows you to take an action like comment, reply, delete and more. Unlike an Android device in which you have to tap every notification, open it in its corresponding App to see it fully and then take an action. With the BlackBerry hub, you could simply click on the search icon and you find anything in any conversation in less than a second.
Peeking into the Hub made easy, in which you could simply slide your finger up from the lower bezel of the device, and there all your communications put together for your easy access in your Blackberry Hub.
(2) Easy Unlock: Here is another reason i like BlackBerry, especially the Blackberry 10, Android devices now use a power/unlock button to wake the device up, which this was nice to have back in 2010, when physical buttons were normal and phones were smaller. Which made the top or side buttons easy to reach. Its no longer the case!.
BlackBerry 10 made a difference in its unlock pattern, whereby you simply slide your finger from bottom bezel of the device towards the top of the screen and your phone is unlocked. The Gesture is simple and intuitive, its also smooth and sensitive enough to be triggered by your finger but not inside a pocket or a bag.
(3) Time Shift in camera: also part of the reasons I like BlackBerry, the time shift on Blackberry 10, can be described as a mix of Samsung's best photo and best face in one. Basically when the mode(time shift) is activated on the blackberry 10, the device captures five frames before and five frames after you press the screen, along with the middle frame. You can then pick the best photo. Whats even better is that if your photo involves people, you can select the best facial expressions for each persons from any of the eleven frames along with the best background. The software merges your choice together to create a perfect picture.
(4) Great Keyboard: The only reason I like BlackBerry on this aspect is that, you could easily switch to symbols keyboard with one swipe, talking about the new versions of blackberries,. This is lot more fluid to me than finding the symbol button and clicking it.
It quite welcomed in countries like Lebanon, where typing transliterated Arabic requires a lot of numbers to replace the missing phonetical letters in the latin alphabet. You simply swipe, find the number and continue with the rest of your word. It simple, fast and lot less disruptive than locating a small button and pressing it, or long pressing it in a letter to get to the number.
(5) Thoughtfulness of the developers: This is the last of my reasons why I like BlackBerry. Is that when entering your password, the keyboard automatically adds a number row on top of the letters. Tiny details like this tells you or makes you realize how thoughtful the developers are, because, most secure passwords are letters plus number based. So it makes lot of sense to have a number row ready when entering a password.
Conclusion: i hope with all this i have been able to pass across the reasons i like BlackBerry and proved myself worthy of owning one of your BlackBerry passport. Thank you and God bless.

Let's start with some basics that some may not be aware of or have forgotten.The processor in bb is snappy. Also unlike other fones, d bb has a high RAM, wch mks a big difference in everyday use, especially if you have a lots of apps installed and tend to keep many open. Has a gud megapixel camera to tk better pictures even in dark areas. Has larger display and a high GPS, gud resolution and triangulation method functioning very well.
Overall the bbdevice is great,. The form factor is awesome, the OS is snappy (no need to be on pins and needles waiting for an updated OS to leak), it takes solid pictures, battery life is great, touch-sensitive trackpad which is just amazing. If you haven't held one or haven't given it a second look due to specs, you really should because you may find you are missing out on a great bb device all because it's "seemingly" not up to par with other brand phones. In my humble opinion, the BB device is a great mobile tool for social, academic and other websites. It also has a high RAM wch makes a big difference in everyday use, especially if you have a lot of apps installed and tend to keep many open.Overall the blackberry device is great,. The form factor is awesome, the OS is snappy (no need to be on pins and needles waiting for an updated OS to leak). I love BlackBerry keyboard, is better than every other phone on the market.
The Subscription Plan is one other thing i love so much about BB, affordable subscription plan.

What i love about blackberry: long lasting battery especially Blackberry passport, The apps are easy to install and remove - The media center on the phone – ringtones, videos and pictures. Themes are easy to install - the theme of the device window or operating system. Email features are great - pretty positive you can have at least three email accounts going directly to your phone. The internet is pretty quick for a phone compared to my prior phone. The memory card is easy to put in - just pull the battery and flip the little mechanism put the card in and flip it back in place with the little secure clamp and your ready to go. You can charge your phone via car charger, USB to computer or the av adapter into the wall. Voice recorder , call log where you can see the history of your callers; voice dailing feature; calendar where you can schedule your appts. The text features are good. The GPS device works quite well. Password keeper, Instant messaging apps from AIM to AOL, Facebook & MySpace Apps. The email on a Blackberry is second to none. The calendar is easy to use and you can sync your email and calendar with your computer. Google maps, facebook app, myspace app, gmail are available. Camera on the phone allows you to send a picture via email to someone else. If you like a full QWERTY go with the curve, if you want to txt fast with one hand go with the Pearl. d data subscription part..which is d cheapest and enough data which make it easy for students. Black berry the first phone i bought with my money its easy and confortable to use onlike the andriod phones. i got so use to the blackberry phone that switching to andriod became so difficult for me , i had to look for keys and setting to operating the andriod phone unlike black berry that has made its settings easy to locate and comfortable to use,keeping u in touch and staying connected to friends and family. What I like About Blackberry..
Like is an Understatement to the Integrity of Blackberry IT and Software Engineers, from my BB7200 user friendly features and loving Track wheel features in the early 2000s with no simcard for me then lol... Graduating to my BB8100 in my First Year in the University with a trackball features, then to BBCurve 8300 with similar features, then to Blackberry Storm 2 with an amazing Touchscreen features, Then to bbBOLD1&2 with similar features that took over the market, then to BB9800 amazing slider, then to BB9900 love to be bold then to my present Z10 with such an amazing features of HSDPA,4.2INCHES screen,16GB 2GB RAM,10 os Upgrade, HOTSPOT (Wireless) and BBM a platform that brought all Nigeria Youths, Adults together than the former means of communication like Yahoo messenger and Window messenger at a very affordable prices of smart phones and subscription data plan, damn it am in love with the Blackberry channels. with my blackberry i have stopped the use of a cyber cafe and the best means I get in contact with my business partner while i have my emails at my finger , I will recommend BLACKBERRY to all Youths, Business partners and Entrepreneur, I call it Minicomputer. Curious about the features of the Blackberry Passport, I guess I can be anywhere in the world with the Passport. (No Visa). Hopefully will get One either by lindagive away or wait till the price drops.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT BLACKBERRY
(1) The Blackberry HUB: This is one of the reasons i like BlackBerry, in here all your communications and notifications are centrally gathered. It does not just notify you of an incoming communication, the Hub also allows you to take an action like comment, reply, delete and more. Unlike an Android device in which you have to tap every notification, open it in its corresponding App to see it fully and then take an action. With the BlackBerry hub, you could simply click on the search icon and you find anything in any conversation in less than a second.
Peeking into the Hub made easy, in which you could simply slide your finger up from the lower bezel of the device, and there all your communications put together for your easy access in your Blackberry Hub.
(2) Easy Unlock: Here is another reason i like BlackBerry, especially the Blackberry 10, Android devices now use a power/unlock button to wake the device up, which this was nice to have back in 2010, when physical buttons were normal and phones were smaller. Which made the top or side buttons easy to reach. Its no longer the case!.
BlackBerry 10 made a difference in its unlock pattern, whereby you simply slide your finger from bottom bezel of the device towards the top of the screen and your phone is unlocked. The Gesture is simple and intuitive, its also smooth and sensitive enough to be triggered by your finger but not inside a pocket or a bag.
(3) Time Shift in camera: also part of the reasons I like BlackBerry, the time shift on Blackberry 10, can be described as a mix of Samsung's best photo and best face in one. Basically when the mode(time shift) is activated on the blackberry 10, the device captures five frames before and five frames after you press the screen, along with the middle frame. You can then pick the best photo. Whats even better is that if your photo involves people, you can select the best facial expressions for each persons from any of the eleven frames along with the best background. The software merges your choice together to create a perfect picture.
(4) Great Keyboard: The only reason I like BlackBerry on this aspect is that, you could easily switch to symbols keyboard with one swipe, talking about the new versions of blackberries,. This is lot more fluid to me than finding the symbol button and clicking it.
It quite welcomed in countries like Lebanon, where typing transliterated Arabic requires a lot of numbers to replace the missing phonetical letters in the latin alphabet. You simply swipe, find the number and continue with the rest of your word. It simple, fast and lot less disruptive than locating a small button and pressing it, or long pressing it in a letter to get to the number.
(5) Thoughtfulness of the developers: This is the last of my reasons why I like BlackBerry. Is that when entering your password, the keyboard automatically adds a number row on top of the letters. Tiny details like this tells you or makes you realize how thoughtful the developers are, because, most secure passwords are letters plus number based. So it makes lot of sense to have a number row ready when entering a password.
Conclusion: i hope with all this i have been able to pass across the reasons i like BlackBerry and proved myself worthy of owning one of your BlackBerry passport. Thank you and God bless.

Blackberry brand is a phone i started using since i was 18, i moved from a curve 2 to a touch 2 den a Q10. Right now theres no better phone i'd rather use. The hub makes it so easy for me. The screen munch i dont need an app for that i jst press the up and dwn button at the same time and thats awesome! The data usage is so economical compared to the present andriod phones.
