I like BlackBerry smartphone because of it's prompt and fast BBM delivery. Its camera is sharp and clear. The subscription is relatively cheap compared to android. It is sleek. Strong battery life. Again BlackBerry is the first to introduce Bbm before other phones imitated,which is a great feat.It is still and will always remain my number phone.

I have seen z10, the Hub (very nice consolidation of all communications) and the Keyboard with feature that automatically offers tiny suggested words that you can flick into the message as you compose. I love that blackberry is the only phone that is actually recommended for official use.

Blackberry has got the best back-end infrastructure for mobile communication. It has awesome phones that can go head-to-head with other high-end smart phones. But that red indicator light? I love it as much as I ever have. I noted in my last post that iPhones don’t have a tiny little light that flashes when there’s a new message or alert. That’s still the case. And as one recent Blackberry to iPhone convert put it, “That’s what I miss most about my BlackBerry. Now I have to turn my phone on to check if I have new messages.”
(I should note I’ve seen indicator lights on Androids including the Samsung Galaxy which has an app that allows you to pick different color indicator lights for different types of alerts. One color for email and another for text, for example. Pretty cool.)
My physical keyboard is still a dealbreaker. I won’t give up on it and neither have other loyal BlackBerry fans. I’ve still never lost a typing race to my iPhone or Android friends, and typo free might I add. I have not met a single person who says they prefer touchscreen keyboards over the physical one I have.
So when BlackBerry, formerly known as Research In Motion, launched its new phones last month it was no surprise that those two key features that keep me in love with my BlackBerry, the indicator light and full keyboard, were still in play.
While my BBM is no longer a reason that keeps me a BlackBerry user I do have a new reason to remain loyal. It was sparked while reading a Forbes post about Instagram not releasing an app for the new BlackBerry. The post is titled “Instagram Delivers A Painful Blow To BlackBerry’s Software Hopes.”
The author argues that without desirable apps like Instagram BlackBerry becomes a lot less desirable. That may be true among potential BlackBerry converts but I doubt it will be a dealbreaker for existing BlackBerry users.
In essence, my third reason for not switching to a smarter Smartphone (just yet) is that I’m not convinced I need one. If you’re still using a Blackberry by choice then you probably don’t care very much about Instagram or any other trendy app because you don’t care for your phone to act like a toy.
You like your phone for its…well, communication features. BlackBerry’s e-mail system, keyboard and indicator light all make the communication process a more efficient one.
A number of comments on the Instagram blogpost show that BlackBerry users don’t care all that much for apps like Instagram.
“I could care less. instagram I never used it, as far as I know you post pictures and share them online. I have better things to do then share my pics with strangers, I use my phone to get stuff done not play games,watch movies,or use any other stupid app,” comments mario castillo.
“Pity .. but I’m still sticking with my Z10. Who cares what apps will choose not to support the QNX platform? Apps have never been a big thing for me. Could be for most of the world .. but not me,” says another.

I guess I should seriously be kissing upto blackberry right now for a chance to win big.
Criticism in ma field of architecture is one of the things that helps improve ur design quality at the end of the day.
So I think instead I'll rather list those things that has stopped me from using a blackberry.
1. BATTERY.
I mean u literally have to move about with your chargers. Everybody complains about the blackberry batteries. I mean I know smartphones use up a lot of power but common blackberry do something. I hope the newer versions have better,longer battery power.
2. COST.
boi o boi. I mean the cost of some of this latest blackberry that's ma house rent for like 2years. 😩😂 common now. Only way I can afford that is if its a GIFT signed ,sealed, and delivered. I know a lot of pips would agree with me here.
3.SCREEN SIZE.
I for one will always be biased wen it comes to phone screen sizes. Ill always go for the bigger screen.
I'm glad with the blackberry Z10 screen I love it. I see the blackberry passport also has a big enough screen size.
I guess there are something's I love about some of the BlackBerry phones.

good morning. in few words what I like about the BlackBerry phone its, its uniqueness. the phone is very smart, the browsing is awesome, and with it am never bored cos I can watch videos on youtube and download movies at will, and no matter how bad network can be the blackberry 2g or 3g network adapts and I love it most because of its instant messaging. I like blackberry because it is the only phone that gives you access to instant messaging without going through the rigors of having to enter a username and password each time you want to chat and also without getting charged each time you send a message. Blackberry is a most have phone, if you need to stay connected received email get your chat massages instantly, which is good for any serious business person, I think you should go with blackberry and carry your charger with your second phone if possible. Blackberry use up much less Megabytes data to complete the same tasks other smart phone can with 1k in this our Nigeria you get 3gb which should be ok for some people in a month, That could prove to be an increasingly important advantage, A BlackBerry user can send 11 times the number of e-mails using up 50 Megabytes of network capacity than other smart phone user can.

The blackberry mobile has the most reliable setup for communication on-the- go. I have owned several Blackberry devices over the years and one thing I love the most is the keyboard which makes typing real easy.
Don't even get me started on the cheap subscription unlike android data plans. Sorry android users.
The blackberry's real time email structure makes it an email machine which is good for business. Also its hub helps us keep up with mails, texts, tweets, FB posts, etc easily by placing them in one place plus its really simplistic even for the technologically inept.
The Blackberry phrase 'Research In Motion' connotes RIM will continuously carry out research to find better ways to provide better devices for its customers and judging by the devices in the market at this early stage, I wouldn't want to miss out on any of their future products (no matter how old I am)

Blackberry as a company is very innovative, this holds true from the form factor of their devices that always stand out (the passport even more so, being that almost all current form factors are glass slabs). I have always loved blackberrys form factor (shape, keypads, trackpads)
The security embedded in the OS is top notch, especially when considered frm an enterprise perspective. This feature I love so much considering current dangers of security and privacy to ones data/information (recent ios licked celebrity images come to mind).
With current link to amazon market, more apps are available on our blackberries, especially productivity apps. Not to mention the very smooth, user friendly, and convenient blackberry messanger)
Finally, proper compression used, help manage data usage properly, especially speaking as a Nigerian (cost/availability of data)
Summarily, what i love about blackberry - innovative form factor, data security, compression, and availability of many productivity apps amongst others.

Ever since I fell in love with the Z10 in 2012 I don't think I've been the same again. I love the whole integration between the OS (being able to chat on bbm FROM the Pictures app is incredible, the Hub is irreplaceable! Since then I've convinced my family to switch to BB10 (2 Z30s, 1 Q10, and a Q5), I've opened a BlackBerry fan website (www.naijaberry10addicts.com), I've opened a Facebook fan page (facebook.com/naijaberry10addicts), I've even started developing apps for BlackBerry 10! (I have 3 apps currently available on BlackBerry World and 2 of them have built for BlackBerry certification) I'm typing this on my App for Linda Ikeji's blog (I also love LIB like crazy) currently available in the BlackBerry World. I think I'm in love with BlackBerry and I've started building my career around it. Winning this phone would mean the world to me.
