It wasn't inappropriate because the event was not a typical somber funeral. It was a four-hour celebration of the life of Nelson Mandela. There was a lot of singing and dancing in and around the stadium, so it wasn't an event to be crying and acting serious.

Is dis not suppose to be a burial for a 95yr old man? Or is it a mass burial for plane crash victims or victims of a natural disaster? It goes to show how close-minded people are. Mandela's death is a celebration of life and I see no reason why people shouldn't smile. They are presidents but firstly human, they should enjoy themselves.
People must talk, that's just the truth of the matter, personally I think the essence yesterday's event is to celebrate a life well lived by a great leader and not to come and do crying competition. So I see no reason y these people can't have fun.
I see absolutely nothing wrong with taking a few pictures at the event,they dont see everyday so its alright....and Mandela dioed at the ripe age of 95 for crying out loud...its called celebration of life!
