I know everybody is free to do with their money as they wish, but if not Nigeria, then choose some other African country and keep the money circulating on the continent instead of going to all these places and building up their economy. They r having their wedding in an unknown location so that ppl in 9ja who r nt conversant wit d place wil think its a special place.For those who don't know, Maldives is a tiny island in d Indian ocean. intact, it can be considered part of India and the citizens are Indians by racial origin. there is nothing interesting about the place.it is a poor tiny island that has been predicted to be completely submerged in the ocean by 2025.peeps, let us stop this fake life and copy copy. Everyone now wants to have their wedding overseas. We have wonderful locations in Nigeria for such occassions better than these obscure countries our people r going to hold their wedding just for the sake of copy copy. Maldives of all places! I am married and I am living overseas with my family.I met my wife overseas but when we wanted to get married, we came home so we can celebrate with our own people who actually love care and cherish us and not some Indian, Arabian or white bastards who don't even have any respect or regard for a black man. Maldives is not dt expendsive naaaa.....ticket cost is just like lagos to London ....$1200 on emirates when i checked last month.......with another 100k naira you will stay in good hotel for 5 nights.....if u want the type of hotel tiwa stayed at while she was there, it's gonna cost about 3x more....just check booking.com if u don't believe me..
Was going to take a trip there last month but couldn't get time off work...and am a regular 8am-5pm lagos working girl.....with no rich father.....
