Femi Kuti's two young sons join him on stage to perform

Femi Kuti's young sons joined him and his Positive Force band on stage last night to perform at the New African Shrine...and I hear they gave a great performance. He's grooming future Afrobeat kings. He must be so proud. See more photos after the cut...

The pics below are from another show...

"positive force band"? That ll end up unleashing series of private performance to the same corruption politicians. All our today celebrities are eye service, self centered materials. There's no better wat of enforcing ur belief than turning down the much aacclaimed NATIONAL HONOUR(
LONG LIVE CHINUA ACHEBE!!!),
LONG LIVE FELA KUTI!!!

Femi Kuti is a genius, his children would carry on the legacies of the Anikulapo family..Do you know the kind of Afrobeat music that these kids would dish out to their generation and generations yet unborn..

Just concerned about their exposure to an Indian hemp audience.

It's gud wen u can proud of ur job and pass it to ur children. Uncle Femi inherit it frm his father (Fala), and his also passing it to his children

Femi has promoted what his father stood for in his own way not because Fela is his father but because he believes in it too. People have to understand his personality is different, he built the shrine and still preaches the message of justice and peace through Pan-Africanism. These kids have their normal lives, they're even the ones excited about doing this, its like a father taking his son to his shop or his office, they may not all be musicians in the future, its a choice, Made has said he loves music, he was probably influenced but not forced. Great job Uncle Femi! Arararara!

Anonymous said...

And for those who don't know, Fela never wore pants on stage, he only did in his home owing to the realities of our African weather just like our fore fathers.

Anonymous said...

U should see how very well his 1st son Made turning out and he was exposed to d same things if not more
