"I have 8 to 10 weeks left to get the transplant done" OJB Jezreel says

OJB Jezreel gave an interview to Encomium magazine yesterday Monday June 24th where he said he has about eight weeks left to get his operation done. Excerpts...
"When early diagnosis was done, it was just a case of renal failure. Right now, my two kidneys are gone. We are running dialysis at the moment. It started two years ago, but gradually depreciated. Most people tend to attribute kidney problem to drinking and smoking. I was told it doesn't have anything to do with that, because as much as I drink and smoke then, it was casual drinking. Maybe they offer you a bottle of drink and all that but not like I drink 15 bottles a day. I have a friend who has gone through this and he never drank or smoked.
"The whole process of the treatment from pre-process, transplanting process and post-transplanting will cost about $100, 000. In two years I have spent up to N5million which I have been trying to maintain myself. That is why it has been kept secret."
"God willing, I have like eight to ten weeks more to get the transplant done. It's strange, I still walk around a little. I can't eat much though. I trust God and Nigerians for their financial support"
Once again, to donate, Babatunde Okungbowa. UBA - 1015075120.

Cooperate bodies should assist and just for the taking, we should set up a fund that will help at such times. Hoping my company can be of help as we are almost finalizing plans for the pre-sale of a feature film and donate 100% of the profit to assist.

Now i am glad that we know he is been sick for a while and he has been trying to sort himself his own way.. OJ in the past 2years never wanted anyone to know of his illness cause of the way they are now talking about it. This goes out to all you haters(Yeni Kuti) I so dislike you for your comments on Alabi's Show on TVC yesterday.I had so much respect for you that i have lost all of it. OJB isn't begging you for money neither dos your brother Femi wants you to tell the whole world what he does in the orphanages. How much money do you think he has after spending 2years of being ill.NO matter how rich he was he is bound to be poor now. As for his family you have no right to tell him how many to keep. No one plans to be sick.

I will contribute and stop waiting for "celebs".. I think everyone else should do same and leave the celebrities alone..He that cannot be faithful with a little cannot be faithful with alot..If you cannot give from the little you have and are busy shedding crocodile tears and insulting others..even if you have billions you wouldn't still give..

For the ignorant one's..Tuface and Whiz kid might have actually donated but OJB would have to spend out of the money donated in order to cover the cost of his dialysis treatments and drugs...Thank me later

This is the mentality that kills us Nigerians, those listed celebrities don't owe him a dime and it is never right to put people under pressure to give.
However, I believe a lot of celebrities will pull funds together for him in no time.
All the best OJB.

it is well.

i wonder why all these actors and musicians can't just open a big foundation where people donate monthly or quarterly to sort out issues like this. Its not fair allowing your own go cap in hand when you can quietly help without all this. Abroad this won't happen. Those are the true celebrities jare not all these people with white washed stardom. LINDA EVEN YOU!!!

Nigerians and their entitlement syndrome. Best thing the pman or whatever President can do is establish a health insurance scheme for artists. What's with these demands, demands, demands?
