Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has received a 10-game ban from the English FA for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic during a game on Sunday April 21st.
The FA released a statement today saying:
"A three-person independent regulatory commission today upheld the FA's claim that a suspension of three matches was clearly insufficient and the player will serve a further seven first-team matches in addition to the standard three.The suspension begins with immediate effect."Suarez has until Friday April 26th to appeal the suspension.

This is overly too harsh! I am in no way trying to whitewash Suarez's act but the English FA aren't fair in terms of bans. I have seen cases of tackles that threaten a players football career and after a retrospective action by the FA they are given 3 match bans.
So is breaking someone's legs less worst than trying to bite someone?
How about racial abuse? That's an issue the whole world frowns at, John Terry was given only 4 match bans when he racially abused a player and called him a "black c**t".
The English FA needs to be transparent, if Suarez was a Britisher he wouldn't have gotten such a lengthy ban. This just gives him the perfect opportunity to leave England and join either Juventus or Bayern Munich.
I blame pathetic Liverpool FC and the pathetic supporters and pathetic Chelsea FC and their pathetic supporters. If Luis Suarez was properly paid and fed he wouldn't have turned cannibalistic and wouldn't have bitten into Branislav Ivanovic like he was a kebab. PC, I actually think that it is deserved in this particular case. Recall that he got a 7 match ban for biting in Holland. Clearly, that wasn't enough to stop the biting habit.
