Youth corpers asked to frog jump at Nasarawa state NYSC camp
You all know NYSC camp opened today, right? Well, some corpers came late to the Nasarawa NYSC camp and were asked to frog jump with their bags on their heads as punishment (photo above). Lol and SMH!
its actually cool, im still serving presently and i remember this happened even in abuja, kubwa camp. its all part of the fun and im tellin em dey re gonna miss it...... if u re walking, you re wrong.... post ma comment o, na my ist tym b dis abeg.
am sorry for them because is hell doing that,i also experienced that in kabba camp in kogi state, for making noise during hiv/aids lecture,i cried all dat day,and that makes me to hate soildiers bc they are wicked.
In Nigeria anything can happened, a bloody soldier punishing a Nigerian graduate???.... some of these guys traveled more than 10hours to this so-call camp.... Call up letter was not ready till late hour..... some couldn't get the their call up letter till Monday morning.... how on earth do you expect them to get to camp on-time.....??? "Iranu" I don't even understand the motive the recent days NYSC seff....
Congrats to all Batch A Corp members, frog jump is normal thing in camp but I don't think dey shld be punished for coming late bcos dey arrived on same day camp was opened "on 5th" .dos instructors ar like dat sometyms acting like everybody ar soldiers .its fun sha corpers wii oooooooooooo ...............congrats once again.
Linda Ikeji... your blog is becoming boring!! Adults and critical thinkers are gradually leaving it for the kids. Do something about it fast. A blog should be entertaining and equally educating...thank yoi
What rubbish!!! Why should a full grown adult be subjected to this? In this ERA! I saw a comment up there saying "its all part of the fun jor". Go ahead and enjoy your fun dear. I didn't do NYSC and I have a very good paying job here in Nigeria. So this notion of no NYSC no job just be cancelled in this country called Nigeria.
Its not new. We all did it. That was my camp. Infact it was a must. Ur no more a bloody civilian wen u enta d camp, so if ur entaring there still feeling like a civilian or an ajebutter, sorry 4 u.
This is rubbish! Stupid illiterate soldiers. That was how our camp commandant killed two female corpers when he forced us (against the advice of his men) to jump in a rising river during endurance trek. The toll would have been higher if not for the gallantry of those same men. Stupid fool started begging. Soldiers never learn.
@tina that's d essense of NYSC. To teach what d real world looks like. Cos u'll be led by someone who's not as learned as u r but u've got to respect. And be humble.
Linda bullshit, those of you that did it,its never fun to me,that's why nothing in Nigeria has value,an illiterate soldier boldly intimidating graduates cos he has a gun or whatever, forgetting the corper members traveled from a far distance on a poorly maintained roads. You see University securities that are mere primary school cert holders abuse potential and future graduates and we watch and applaud it,when would Nigerians learn as a country,no wonder it takes decade to secure peanut paying jobs after school cos the graduates are not even sure of themselves.Never served though let alone being asked to frog jump...mwtchhhhhhhhhh
this is wrong.orientation camp is not a guerilla camp.besides these army guys are usually overzealous.and by the way linda this pic might not be recent cos camp just opened and the last time i checked friday is usually the last day of grace, due to logistics and all that shit.
Its a normal thing. I did mine last nov in Calabar Camp. Obubra to be precise and around 10pm. Annoyingly, i found out it was Man-O-War guys. Mtcheeeew
