Sporting a new hair cut and
a slimmer waistline, Dr Sid is back with his latest hit ‘Afefe’, which trended on twitter last
week. After his dazzling performance alongside Wande Coal at the ‘Love
Afrobeats Festival’, headlined by P Square, Dr Sid, real name Sidney Onoriode Esiri isn’t wasting any time with his new
music.
The
‘Chocolate’ crooner flew into the UK to shoot the video directed by renowned
director Sesan Ogunro. Set
for release at the end of next month, ‘Afefe’, which means ‘Breeze’, is a clever
play on a Nigerian proverb, while Dr Sid promises to cool down the ladies in
the catchy chorus. This is the latest track to be released and does not feature
on the new Mavin Records album ‘Solar Plexus’. It’s
a stand a lone track made especially for the clubs- a certified club banger
produced by BlayzeBeats.
Since
the launch of the Mavin Records label, Dr Sid has ‘Chocolate’, ‘YOLO’ and ‘CPR’ sizzling
under his belt already. These songs sit alongside his label mates Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal and D’Prince, which were

‘Afefe’
will feature on his untitled album, tipped to be released early 2013. Until
