I'm sure some of you heard about the plane crash that occurred this afternoon. Incredibly sad! I have a photo from the crash but please do not look if you're sensitive. The photo is quite disturbing. See it after the cut but remember, you've been warned!

To tell u d truth, I am a crazy person n wd hav joked n laffed at this post like others would, but I hav learnt to take plane crashes seriously.....lost my mum years back. Knowing that some1 u love n spoke to mins earlier is burnt to ashes n not havg any body part to bury...smh! It just teaches u that in life, until u r affected by sumtin then u wd really know ow it feels. My heart went up when I saw this post yesterday cos I thot the plane missing from Indonesia (God pls let dat that plane b found) had bEen found. Its all over CNN. My heart skips whenever I hear there is a plane crash, cos I know how I felt when the Bellview plane crashed. I still love u linda n I know u meant no harm,
i really do not blame u cos mayb u were lookin for something creative to do or d fact dat ur head is starting to swell bcos pple say they like u ( i really dont blame them too cos i LOVE u) buh c'mon girl dis was jes too insensitive and u made an absolute mockery of victims of plane crashes. this was jes too much. i really pray u dont fall a victim.
I see your apology, but the trouble is that I'm still looking for the joke in this and I still think this should be taken down. If this was a post about someone's point of view on a subject (which your blog typically allows for) and others found it offensive, it would be okay because it's a blog. This isn't a post about an opinion. Then again blogging is about comments (and God knows you've got that) and it's also your blog so you can do with it what you will. Something I think you should take into consideration for the future though - if your blog were to grow even more popular such that it became a force to be reckoned with in global media, the kind of backlash you would get for this would be ridiculous (maybe that's why this highly irresponsible post is still up with only some half-assed apology to temper it - it's not CNN or BBC or Facebook or Twitter so it does not warrant responsible blogging) *rolls eyes*
And if at least 5 commenters who found this funny can HONESTLY say they have lost loved ones in plane crashes and still found this funny, I'll rest my case.
While I agree the words 'plane crash' would strike a bad cord with those sensitive to that for a variety of reasons, this was a joke and Linda did not say anyone died on the plane clash. Actually it would have been funnier if she said everyone survived with only 'bubus' (little scraps or cuts).
You made me laugh girl cos typically when you put a warning i DO NOT click to see the pics but I come straight to the comments to get an idea of the gravity of the pics. Have a great weekend!
