According to what I heard, (and the only reason I'm writing about this incident is because there's evidence to back up the claim) Kingsley Okonkwo of KC Presh music duo on Saturday April 14th assaulted a man, Moshood Adegboro (pictured above) around the testing ground Alausa Ikeja. According to witnesses, Moshood refused to allow KC's convoy over take him on the road, which resulted in a minor accident involving Moshood's car, Kingley's car and another car. KC allegedly came down from his car with his mobile police escorts and proceeded to assault Moshood.
After the beating, KC and his convoy zoomed off and Moshood went to report the case at the Alausa police station. When I reached out to one of KC's reps this morning, they confirmed the incident but said KC was not directly involved in the assault. They will be coming out with their own side of the story soon!

I'm very much aware that on the one hand, the accused - who I'm personally aware was personally involved (I'm a broadcast journalist, remember) - has been making effort to make up with Moshood (having bragged that 'noting go happen') by calling several other friends in our interwoven circle.
On the other hand, he first denied that it happened, then commuted to the fact that it happened but he was not involved, while intensifying pressure on Moshood to settle amicably.
Hmn, let him not think that it is a small issue, and that he has enough contacts and connections to quash this. Moshood has the media - print, electronic and the social media - on his side, and he doesn't have to pay a dime.
Its ok to criticize and analyse when you are not directly involved in a case. I've done same in time past, but over time I've learnt to give the benefit of doubt to the other party until I'm sure what happened. Isn't it curious that since it all happened, there has been no unsolicited statement from this fellow's angle? Its ok to panic but afterwards, what?
Now, how do I think this can be resolved?
Simple.
He denied on radio that it happened, thus calling Moshood a liar. As you read this, there is pressure on Moshood to concede. I already told Moshood that even if he acceded to pressure, I insist that this fellow should be human enough to agree that he did wrong, panicked, lied, and has now realised he did wrong.
Then we all will be appeased, and I promise that the same media will push and launder his already battered image (if he had any before now).

Well said Makindeayo ,I totally agree with you , nobody should be treated that way , unfortunately this man called Kc would have gotten away with a lot of this , I wish he had done this to some people I know , guest me he would still be in the guard room all battered up ,even if the inspector General of police is his best friend , some illiterate flexing muscle .
But then again feel disappointed at you last paragraph alluding to the fact that If he does the noble thing by admitting he assaulted Moshood , his image shall be laundered .
Haba is that what the press and the members of the fourth estate been turned to ? So because you and your friends have been dealth with, you would show him , all well and good But what about the common man , the truck pusher , the okada rider , danfo driver as useless as they can be ------- who fights their battle for them , that definaly , glaringly is the lot of the common man.
Guess anyone can hire mobile policemen now................
KC denied it on a live radio show two days ago. and the said Moshood claimed it was KC who beat him up. Some people even called to say they had proof of the incidence. So who is lying btw the duo of KC and Moshood?
