An Exclusive Google+ Experience – Celebrities and Others to be hosted at GET Arena this week

This week in Lagos, the Celebrity A-Listers will be hosted to an exclusive Google+ experience in Lagos where members of the Google Nigeria team will share the bells and whistles of the transformative Google+. Google+ is a social content platform launched in 2011 with currently over 90 million active and it is enabling people all over the world to connect around content of mutual interest. 

 According to the official announcement, “Google is keen to give a small and select group of Nigerian celebrities, social influencers and content creators a unique and in-depth look at all Google+ has to offer, including integration with YouTube and Google Search, and help them become among the first to get fully on-boarded onto this new social platform.”

At the event, the selected guests will:
Learn about the bells and whistles of Google+ and integration with YouTube
Get ideas on exciting things you can do with your fans
Experience a Google+ “Hangout” – a magical way of connecting with select fans online
Elevate the performance of your brand in Google Search

The event will hold on Thursday, April 12 at 10 at the GET Arena in Lagos, and will be a high-wired events powered by innovative technology – guests will be able to interact through Google+ and other Google products in a fun, interactive afternoon.
It will be a unique techie experience for those who consider themselves social media enthusiasts and for those who value what social media can do for their brands and content locally and internationally.
This should be fun!

Another advertising avenue by the almighty Google to shove Google+ down our throats - as if we are not alright with Facebook. What a marketing tactic - using celebrities. Google and their aggressive marketing; jst want the whole internet to be speaking Google language.
