If all presidents were women, there will be no wars. Just a bunch of countries not talking to each other. Problem?

So how does this have anything to do with anything else around here? What benefit has ever been derived from the mere fact that Africa had one Female President called Elen Sirleaf Johnson???
What makes anyone think adding another female president to Africa's "List of Accomplishments" will make anything any better...???

There are two points to be made here. One, we need diversity in leadership, which should include men, women, old and young. This should lead to more robust thinking and better decision making. However, we must be careful not to place women on a pedestal. Anyone is capable of being a bad leader, male or female. What we need to focus on is making sure we have a way of choosing good leaders (male or female), who have good people around them, proven track record of knowing what they are doing and accountability to the people who vote them in.
