The Nigerian police two days ago confirmed that
the alleged Boko Haram member and the mastermind of the Christmas Day bombing at St Theresa’s Catholic Church that killed over 40 people, Mr Madala, Kabiru Sokoto, who was arrested and detained for the killings, has escaped from police custody.
The suspect, who was arrested last week inside a Borno State Government lodge, allegedly escaped while he was being led to his residence in Abaji, near Abuja. Police claim that the security team escorting the suspect were attacked by youths suspected to be members of Boko Haram in Abaji.
Following the escape, the Commissioner of Police in charge of Zonal Criminal Investigation Department at Zone 7, Police Command Headquarters, Mr. Zakari Biu, was suspended.

President Jonathan should now pause at this juncture and re-examine the whole issue once again and decide within himself, what chemistry he will need to push the nation on.
Evidently, he must be aware that, there are lot of enemies within who are hell-bent to destabilize his govt and should seek advice from the outside on what he can do rather than seeking internal advice that will not bring the desired help he really needed.
A situation whereby Boko-Haram followed the IG before Force Headquarter was bombed and the assailants are yet prosecuted offered a real food for thought !
With this new development on escape of Christmas day bombing suspect, i think he better prepare his mind for the worst- in view of the on-going political impasse.

It is unfortunate that the PDP lead government of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has continued to kill innocent Nigerians and foreigners trough their thugs a.k.a BOKO HARAM (JONA HARAM). This explains the governments indifference to the killings and support to the killers. My prayer is for Nigerians to realize that the perpetrators of these killings are in government and very close to government just as indicated by the president himself last week.

Who are they fooling. First the suspected bomber was arrested in a government house of all places. Their complicity is very clear for all to see. The police have been bribed to release the bomber. This shows that influential figures are behind this Boko Haram nonsense. They are incrementally pushing this country to religious chaos and unfortunately we have an inept and cowardly president who has no idea how to tackle the situation and bring to book the masterminds. I think only God knows how this chapter in the history of Nigeria will play out.

MY Dear brothers and sisters, isnt it funny how Boko Haram hasnt set off any bombs since the onset of this Subsidy palaver. This to me just reiterates how badly the government has failed us as Boko Haram is definately nothing short of the more aggressive way of Striking at the Nigerian Govt' just as we all took to the streets this past week. To end most of our security problems and to make for a better Nigeira, i strongly feel that we a real Govt that stands for the people and not only for themselves.
