I blame their parents and the past governments in Nigeria. GEJ's is new and is excused from blame.

they actually look like thieves n kidnappers! no-one to blame but their very self. for the fact that nigeria has a major problem of unemployment n lots more...its not enough reason to engage in criminal acts...

See high cheekbones..I dey envy o!

Anyway, jokes aside. I think at some point WE, the citizens of Nigeria have to start taking responsibilities for our actions. We can't keep blaming the government all the time. It's obvious that our leaders aint doing sh*t for us. Nigerians' selfishness is also a reason why any of our major situations hasn't changed. No man wants to help his fellow man. Everybody wants to steal from their neighbours; blame rich people for getting rich and try to hurt them etc.. It's becoming a freaking cycle. We need to get up and fight for our nation and not just for individual selves/families.

@Bloglord
Gbam!

I grew up in a struggling lower class middle family. Back then, we had to sell soft drinks, beer and ice block to make ends meet but today by His grace we are all ok. That you are poor does not mean you have to result to a life of crime. Greed and wanting fast cash is what is responsible for this. Look at their hard faces and tomorrow, some women insist that all their problems will vanish once they birth male children. See now. SMH.

Dont mind them! they want to become rich like yesterday.
they commit all sorts n look for who to pass the blame on.
nor be their mate hang placard for head sayin to all and sundry "i need a job"?
i know a guy; a graduate of mechanical engineering. the guy couldnt get a job. wat did he do?he attached himself to a good mechanic n learnt the work indepthly. today he runs a very big automobile repair shop somewhere in ikeja, lagos making money like mad cos when u go there the kind of cars u find there brought in for repair..
these days majority of our youths do not want to empower themselves anymore, they just involve themselves in dirty deals to get rich overnight n when they r caught, they blame the devil, government, tom, dick n harry. smh!

Well, in such a case. We don't blame the government for crying out loud. We blame the kids and partly the parents.

this notion of parading alleged criminals is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen.

Proof that there is no due process in Nigeria.

Absolutely their fault!what d heck. Are d the only ones that are poor.God punish them.

i dont even know sef but i blame their parents and government. Mostly, their parents though! some parents aid and abet crime. Rome was not built in a day the same way commiting a heinous offense like kidnapping didnot just start out of the blues. It could have started from a build up of other crimes like stealing meat from the pot of soup, stealing petty things, etc and since the parents refused to nip it in the bud, it resulted in what we are seeing now. On the otherhand our government no dey try too. They could have resorted to kidnapping due to joblessness.

Blame??? I blame them..they should bury their heads in shame...we all live in this society..we know the govt.have failed..but we should not become failures ourselves...

Anonymous said...

They should take the blame they are grown men not small children!

Point-blank: If you screw up, your parents had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with it. We are the captains of our own fate. We all have bad shaves, so have I. But that doesn't mean we resort to robbery and the lot. What about those who had NO PARENTS growing up, and still didn't rob a bank? Are they any different? Our choices remain ours.
