Yesterday Dec 1 2011, 19 people lost their lives along the Benin-Ore road in a tragic auto accident that involved a bus belonging to Hope Express Transport Company, and a tanker.
Eye witnesses said the tanker driver abandoned his lane, crossed the pavement to the other lane and collided with the Hope express bus in high speed. Only one passenger in the bus survived. The tanker driver has since been arrested for reckless driving.
The bus was traveling from Lagos to the East.

We voted Jonathan, not Goodluck.
Who knows the next person to die on that road? It could be any of you reading this. Next time vote wisely.

Hm! Xmas rituals.
hmmn the state of that benin ore road is deplorable! i last travelled by road in '07...na God dey help person sha..useless govt i thought one minster of transport passed the road sometime ago and lamented about the state of the road?
Naija roads baddddddddd.....
1 person survived.hmmmmmmm
Was that picture of Nigerian road?
Is that an highway?
This Benin-Ore road has been causing deaths for a long time now and the Government has not done anything about it. i don't even live in Nigeria and I am fully aware of this death trap. Its the same road that Hon Patrick Ogbahiagbon was blowing grammar about when addressing the House of Reps. He said it was in a state of macabandance...
Why there has not been a revolution in Nigeria till date baffles me because the government is responsible for the lives of its citizens and yet they squander money on rubbish while people perish.
GLJ is doing well! Make him carry go! Do not declare state of emergency on our roads that have become death traps. Do not declare state of emergency on the health sector. Do not declare state of emergency on unemployment. Continue to occupy yourself with gays and lesbian matter. Yeye leaders.
In other countries this is tantamount to a tragedy of mammoth proportions..and there would have been severe repercussions..pls does anyone have any idea the numbers killed on that road??..must be in their thousands...five figures..easily..
What a waste. how do people like dat even sleep at nite? Imagine d waste.
