Chimamanda Adichie chosen as Radcliffe fellow

Award-winning author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, has been selected as a fellow for the 2011- 2012 session at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, Harvard University, US. The author of ‘Purple Hibiscus’ and ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’ is among the 51 people selected from 800 applications received by the Institute where individuals pursue advanced work across a wide range of academic disciplines, professions, and creative arts. - 234next

Congrats but really many Nigerians become fellows everyday. I for one I am a fellow at a University in the United Kingdom and we do not get it announced and in my own case we are only 3 selected from Africa out of 100 applications, so me to I try na, wetin you think...lol

it is not about just being a fellow. its about being a Harvard fellow. one of the top 3 schools in the world. thats the difference. A+ and B+ are not the samething
