I really really love that lady. Shes so stern and smart! And I am so glad it was a woman that 'chaired' the debate.

Moderator was wearing Ituen Basi - looking very stylish. Why can't we have her run for President?

WTF??? those still parading Johnathan after he didnt show after an hour of waiting for him? brainless, mindless, idiots. the guy intentionally didnt show and that staged fake ass interview with D'Banj (who was obviously paid) is not gonna cut it, sorry. he is failing the Nigerian people. we need to hear his own side of the story and his plans, if he has any. i dont care how good he seems to be, he needs to go and let his voice be heard. WE NIGERIANS, I GUESS, ARE USED TO AND PRAISE MEDIOCRE STUFF. ABEG....RIBADU FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

@anon 9:21pm, it seems to be becoming a common consensus that cos kadaria ahmed looked really nice and was smart and well elocuted, she should look into a career in politics or presidency. that seems very naive and overly simplistic. has she ever expressed an interest in a political career? the woman is obviously a journalist, quite a far cry from politics. so does this mean all other women with pretty faces should consider an office in government? and pray tell what the women/men who are less than easy on the eyes, but passionate about politics and bettering their country, what should they do?

... this is not about you, cos many people have expressed the same opinion. i'm just sometimes saddened by the superficiality of human reasoning.

If we based the election on that debate, Shekarau should win hands down. If we base it on noisemaking Nuhu gets the vote. If you base it on who among them has contributed most to Nigeria's problem then of course Buhari is the man for President. And if based on zoning system, I believe the North will be happy with any of these clowns.

As far as I am concerned Shekarau is a retired civil servant who we suddenly realise is powerful enough to contest for president i.e. he has followed the same route from which many a typical corrupt politician has emerged. And I am not inclined to see him as any different from the rest.

Ribadu has spent a long and 'distinguished' career in the Police Force. How was he able to survive all the kick backs, nepotism and brutalising that was the major hallmark of the NPF throughout his career without being a part of it? We know how Nigeria operates. If you don't cooperate, you are eliminated or at best removed, one way or the other. Or perhaps he had godfathers. Are they the ones behind him now? He is a friend of Tinubu. All I am saying is, show me your friends and I'll show you who you are.

As for General Muhammadu Buhari, just picture yourself at 5pm after a hard day's work being whipped and frog-marched in public by soldiers, just for standing on a long queue to buy milk, rice, and other essential commodities to keep body and soul together. And this is in peacetime. In a country as rich as Nigeria. No war, nothing. Everyone walking about in fear of what may happen. People are so quick to forget. How about the $2.8 billion? While we were queing for hand outs like refugees in our own country ONE MAN siphoned $2.8bn! And that was when money had value! No wonder he can afford to contest and recontest every presidential election. A leopard is vicious, merciless when it finds its prey. And it will never lose its spots. A word is enough for the wise.

May God help Nigeria.

Shekarau really impressed me, but i heard he’s a failure in Kano state. However, we’ll hear more from this guy in the future. Even though people said Buhari didn’t do well, i think he did okay. I’m still a Ribadu person and despite what people say about Tinubu, he’s done very well for himself by using his ill gotten wealth to blag his way into relevance.
I bet the PDP is laughing hard. They know they have won by rigging.

If only debates could win elections....My predictions will be Shekarau moving to Aso rock.He spoke so intelligently and sounded convincing. Whoever wins should get him and Fola Alade on board, they are the best so far from debates.

Abeg no Shekarau o, i served in kano, he is no good. I know he speaks well, but we need change not speech, as for Buhari, what is he coming back for?

I love shekarahu die. The love I have for Jonathan is diminishing, I just found out that Jonathan is a fucking puppet leader. Not capable at all. please, where on earth did he do his PHD?.He doesnt look like a doctor to me.He said he would come to BON organised debate. who knows if they are feeding him with the possible questions he would be asked in BON organised debate. NN24 was a neutral place if he wanted to prove himself.DEM him!

People are voting for Jonathan because of ethnic reason. We want someone different than a hausa or yoruba.
I'm in for all that but if another hausa guy knows what he's talking about like Ribadu and shekarau, I'M VOTING FOR ONE OF THEM

Honestly, Buhari reminds me of the past and Nigeria needs to move forward.

I love the woman, she's stern and knows what she's talking about.
