This is PR. Don't believe it. This is one of his many houses, not his main or exclusive home. He has a home, too, in London.
There are no gates in most houses here. He's just one person, how much space does he need anyway. Smart guy. There will be enough time for him to get a mansion in the future.
The nerd factor. They are a boring lot. Probably spends his money on crazy things like microprocessors etc. We all have a wild side. Just cos someone doesn't spend money oww what everyone else alues doesn't meAn they arent doing so some other way...don't fall for that

I do not want to sound condescending but I believe you may state your views without attacking anyone. The anonymous writer @4:30pm (who by the way was not able to distinguish between net worth and liquid asset)could have stated her opinion, no matter how wrong, without directly attacking anyone.
Also, as an afterthought, I would imagine that you should be able to communicate in writing effectively to correct another person.

The 26yr old has a modest gig. Tyler's house in Atlanta is nice, not over the top. Drive a few miles down and you will see some crazy houses. The boy probably has all that money stashed in savings and what not. To own a 5 bdrm in Cali is not beans at all. Also I find modern construction here is utter crap, the older-refurbished houses are more "solid" (as solid as houses in America can get).

Even if he has just 10% of that money as physical cash thats a whole lot of money for a 26 year old. So many of you who have commented so far probably will never have .001% of that amount in there bank accounts in this lifetime. So whats the fuss about paper money and physical money? Year ended 2010, Facebook netted $2billion dollars in revenue. This guy (Mark Z.) has more than enough cash to spend on anything you can imagine. His focus has always been to make Facebook better and not be distracted by bimbos, jacuzzis and a 50-room mansion.
That is the difference between a rich WHITE person and a rich BLACK person. Look at Warren Buffet, one of the RICHEST men in the world, he still lives in the same modest home he had BEFORE his company went on to be the voice in the financial world. Steve Jobs of APPLE, Inc. wears the same darn outfit to work, Bill Gates and his wife look like regular, middle class folks. Compare these people and how they live to the Sean Puffy Combs, Kimora Lee Simmons, PSquare of this world etc.
This is how you maintain your money, this is how you stretch your money, this how you have enough left over so your children and grandchildren have something to inherit.
