Blogger Perez Hilton is in serious trouble. He's currently facing widespread outrage, and possibly legal trouble, for posting an apparently explicit paparazzi shot of Miley Cyrus taken when the singer was climbing out of a car.
Hilton, 32, posted the offending photo yesterday Monday June 15 on his twitter page. He has since removed it. But since it exposed Cyrus, 17 – a minor – he could potentially face child-pornography charges.
Jeffrey Douglas, a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney specializing in child pornography cases said that it was "suicidal" for Hilton to distribute the image. "We're not talking about a misdemeanor," he said. "You don't have to know what the definition of the law is; all you have to do is knowingly distribute the photograph."
Perez responded via a video posted on his blog “Do you think Miley is that stupid to be out in public without panties? Do you think I’m stupid enough to post a photo of Miley if she’s not wearing any underwear down there? Sure I like to be controversial, but I don’t want to go to jail. The reason I linked to that photo is because I thought she was exiting this car in a very un-ladylike fashion.” he said
If convicted he could face up to 15 years in jail

he won't go to jail. he's doing his job and meanwhile his motive was not to show the girl's privates. miley cyrus is out of control and that's what he's trying to do, create steam. i know he won't go to jail. they'll have to prove that his motive was for pornography othrwise, there's no case.
The picture was even a fake, made to look like she was not wearing underwear, this constitutes as child pornography. I like Perez but the law is the law, lock him up! hehe
