Oprah Winfrey will announce live today Friday 20th 2009, that her popular daytime talk show, 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' arguably one of the most popular, influential and enduring programs in television history, will end its run in 2011 as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011.

The Oprah show is over rated..
I have never really given a shit about the woman, lol. Her last Oprah show/season will end in 2011,so it's still a long way to go. Heard on the news that she's staring her own Cable network, Oprah Winfrey Network.
Goodluck to her on that one. We have Direct TV and are sticking to it, lol.
the only talk show personality I can imagine filling Oprah's shoes would be Ellen (she already goes by her first name too)
I have my own issues with Oprah, but she's still one of the best talk show host. I will tell you this, Ellen or Tyra, or any of these talk show hosts will never come close to Oprah. We are talking about millions of people worldwide tunning in to watch Oprah's show everyday. If someone wants to put their business out there, just go on the Oprah's show. If you want your music to be heard, go on the show, I guess it's called Oprah's magnet. One of my problems with Oprah is the weird spiritualism that she's into. All ways lead to heaven type of thing. I don't get why they are making it seem like it's ending the end of this yr, it's 2011, for goodness sake.
