D Banj and Ashionye were the comperes and I must say that the Koko Master owned the night. He's the best compere I have ever seen. I mean he kept us laughing every single time he came on stage...D Banj is really multi-talented and humble. He deserves every success he gets.
Ashionye was well...beautiful, articulate, confident, well dressed and really carried us along.
My girl TY Bello finally won an award for Greenland. About time too.
The best performance for me apart from NAS of course, who really thrilled the crowd, was the Mohits Crew. Great Performance!

Mohits All Stars, Don Jazzy is just organising bigger and mightier things, more grease to his elbows. What's the lastest on him and Tonto Dike? That Tonto is fine, a good actress. PSquare, i believe that they are happy, now. They gave us quite a scare, anyway, i'll speak for myself.

hi linda, i watched soundcity awards live.the organiser really tried putting all that together. the only disappointment is the girl presenting the show with her fake accent trying too hard to be funny. Dbang really rock the crowd
I guess i wasn't the only one that wasn't feeling ashy's dress. She needs to stop with the fakeness.
Ashionye's ensemble may be a tad bit inappropriate for the event, and she has great legs.
My suggestion is for her to employ a stylist. It does not have to be a "big name person," it could be an unknown person. The most important thing is that person can come up with simple classy styles that suits Ashionye's body type and personality. Mary J Blige (no comparisons, whatsoever, i am just using her as an example), sings hip hop and her stylists dress her in a kind of laid-back, home girl type of outfits, also, taking note of her hourglass figure/shape, which suits her just fine.
Another suggestion is that Ashionye should blank out her mind on trying to look like or emulate Beyonce - rather she should think about what she truly wants to look like, in the process, she would come to appreciate herself more, notwithstanding, the general public, as well.
She will do well.
