Terry G Marks Birthday at Orphanage

Gabriel Amanyi a.k.a Terry G on 17th March, 2011, visited the SOS children village in Isolo, Lagos, to celebrate his birthday with the children. Terry G, accompanied by his mum and friends one of which included Uti the Big Brother Africa winner met with the social official in-charge at the village who showed everybody round the village: to the children's hostels, classrooms and the likes. The children who were so elated to see the role model pay them a visit did not stop chanting his songs, especially ‘Testing Microphone’ a song from his recent album. Terry donated kids’ food stuffs, biscuits, snacks, drinks and others, all in large quantities.

Well done Terry G. More pictures when you continue...

D'Banj interviews president Goodluck Jonathan

D'Banj interviewed President Goodluck Jonathan today. The interview will air on Silverbird TV at 8:30pm today 17th March, 2011. Watch out for it.

How is it that the President of the Federal Republic doesn't want to be interviewed by journalists but doesn't mind sitting down for an entertainer? What exactly is D'banj going to ask him? He will probably kiss-ass throughout the interview (D'banj is one of the many Naija entertainers campaigning for the president). Now a Chude Jideonwo or a Tolu Ogunlesi, or the guys from 'What About Us' would have done a better job.
I don't know what to make of PDP anymore.

Super Falcons' players indulge in lesbianism - Coach

Super Falcons
Eucharia Uche
“It’s a worrisome experience that some of our players indulge in lesbianism. Some of them go as far as renting rooms in hotels around the team’s campsite where they go to satisfy their orgy. A good number of them even bring their male friends into the camp. It’s a serious development that has been detrimental to the team’s growth and performance.” - Super Falcons’ Coach, Eucharia Uche made this statement at the seminar on Women Football in Nigeria: Challenges and Prospects.

'Ije' Missing from 2011 AMAA Nomination list

Chineze Anyaene
Quite a number of people were surprised that the block buster movie 'Ije' featuring Omotola and Genevieve didn't make the African Movie Academy Awards nomination list. Anchor Baby, and the recently released movies, A Private Storm and Mirror Boy were nominated, so why not Ije?

When the producer of the movie, Chineze Anyaene, was approached by reporters to find out what happened, she allegedly said "Professionally I didn't enter 'Ije' for AMAA for reasons best known to me."

Errm, so one has to enter a movie before it's nominated? #confused.
