Shehu Sani frowns at FG's plan to increase Electricity tariff, says it will increase the hardship of the masses
Senator Shehu Sani says the proposed plan by the Federal
government to increase electricity tariff is a wrong move. He says
instead of increasing it, they should decrease the tariff because of the
downtrodden.

I'm also against this govts decision to increase electricity tariff.It seems the brunt of this administration's policies always falls on the poor masses.We haven't recovered from the shock of CBN taxing us on all deposits made to our accounts & now this.If the govt wants us to go back to the stone age of using lighted logs of wood as electricity & digging holes in the ground to hide our money, it should tell us. Upon all the billions we recovered from looted funds, they are still exploiting the poor masses.Do we want to build heaven in Nigeria? I voted in this govt coz I thought it has a hindsight to see where we've been & the foresight to see where we are going.I hope it knows what its doing coz my voters card is in hand to boot em out come 2019 oh.We will keep this trial by error in selecting our leaders till we get a near perfect leader.
What's the use of congratulating the Federal Government for recording the highest electricity transmission in terms of kilowatts if this does not translate to more hours of power enjoyed by Nigerians? Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) has not given anyone in the Benin area the reason to be happy. While other DISCOS are moving to improve the situations in their operational areas, BEDC is busy increasing the suffering of its customers.
This wasn't the change we voted for! And no Mr Shehu, electricity improvement was GEJ administration's handiwork which materialized under buhari's tenure.. Stop taking the credit for this!

I personally think it's high time we youths come to term with 'these ppl don't fucking care about you or me, they use us to get to the top by giving you half seed of smelling money, selling your birthrights, camping for cheats and throwing your God's given right as citizens away, and for what?, a small portion of meal. With due respect Sir....PBM has not spent a dime so far in this adminnistration.Let us be sincere for posterity sake and give credit to whom it is due.Everything we are enjoying in respect of infrastructure was put in place by GEJ.

We should learn to use power as and when required to reduce amounts paid . Switch off your lights please when not required.
