Glo treats subscribers to multiple benefits

These are indeed exciting times for Glo subscribers! The company on Friday unveiled a bouquet of three exciting offers to its customers to enhance their communication experience on the network.

The offers, which were formally introduced at the Mike Adenuga Tower Head Office of Globacom on Friday, are 200 Percent Bonus Airtime and Data, Glo Bounce and Data Bundles on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Samsung Galaxy S6 Flat smart phones.

Mr. Ashok Israni, Regional Chief Marketing Officer, Globacom, who unveiled the offers said the 200 Percent Bonus offer was aimed at empowering Globacom subscribers to derive much more value and satisfaction from using the network. All subscribers need to do is to dial *200# to get on the bonus platform.

Once on the platform, any recharge of N200 and above instantly gives Glo subscribers 200 percent bonus airtime they can use to call any network any time of the day within seven days. In addition, they get extra N200 they can use to call 10 family and friends. The Family and Friends feature is activated by dialing *101*1*phone number of the family or friend#.
Mr. Israni said the subscriber also gets 15MB of data instantaneously. In addition, he said the subscriber  will receive one minute free airtime for every three minutes of call to one person.
For subscribers who load N100, they get instant bonus of 100 percent and 5MB of free data.

Speaking on the other offers, Mr. Israni said Glo Bounce will facilitate seamless and affordable communication among young telecommunication subscribers.
According to him, the product allows subscribers who sign up to the platform to call each other at a heavily discounted rate of 11 kobo per second and send SMS at the rate of N3 per message.
The Bounce product which has been significantly enhanced, also has a feature tagged ‘Campus Zone’ which when activated by customers will enable them to call other Glo lines at the rate of 11 kobo per second.

Subscribers on the Bounce platform will also be able to call any network in Nigeria at the flat rate of 15k per second. In addition, they will get 15MB for every recharge of N200 and above. They also get one free SMS for every one SMS paid for.

To get on the Bounce platform, subscribers are requested to dial *170*4#.To opt for Campus Zone, they are required to dial *170*9#.
They also have an option of migrating to Generation G to enjoy the 200 percent bonus airtime  on every recharge of N500 and above; 100 percent bonus on recharges of N200; and 50 percent bonus on recharges of N100. To get on the Generation G platform, customers need to dial*170*5#.

The third offer launched at the press conference is on the latest Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which comprises Samsung Galaxy S6 Flat and Samsung Galaxy Edge.
Mr. Israni explained that the devices have been bundled with free SIM and 4.5GB data upon activation by customers. The customers will subsequently get 500MB of data per month for 12 months when they purchase any data plan from N2000 and above monthly.

The deal also includes free accessories and Samsung Warranty coverage for months.
“At Globacom, we are committed to delighting various segments of our subscribers with value-laden offers that will enrich their overall experience on our network. The three offers we are adding today are consistent with this commitment. We will continue to seek for new ways of delighting our esteemed customers and rewarding them for choosing our network” Mr. Israni said.

Glo is most definitely the best network in Nigeria right now. I have a glo line as a backup line, but it is slowly becoming my major line...After I loaded N1,000 last month and got more than double that to call all networks, I was blown away. As in ehn, I have been talking anyhow on the phone for the past three weeks.

Are You A One Minute Man?

Hissed! Glo netwrk is worst than mtn, and airtel. I prefer etisalat despite their high charges far better mostly on internet services.

Nice to reward loyal customers but they should focus more on improving the quality of their network and wider coverage. Glo has come a long way.

Seen.
Improve on your network first.
Worst network so far.

If you are using any 10 series phone, like the Z10,Q5, Q10, enjoy Glo services, by subscribing 1k for 3GB, and if you are on Glo Bumpa tariff, each recharge is double the amount, and you can use it for anything, calls to all network, text, browsing and it last for one week, imagine recharging 1k and getting an extra 2k making it 3k in all. Glo is so just the best network.

I dnt no who is lying now. Is it Glo marketing managers themselves or the customer service session?
I've being hearing about the Glo unlimited promo which I attempted on several ocassions to request for which was not successsful. I called the customer service 2wice b4 the Governorship election only to year excuses for the Glo Unlimited package not to be activated on my fone.I put a call tru to their customer service 2 days ago,Only to learn that the promo was no more available. Glo is now advertising this same package again. I called the customer service 2da again(19th April,2015),they told me the promo has expired. So who should I believe? Dis avert or the customer service.
Away from the offer,I fink Glo is one of our Nigerian Brand of telecoms and we should encourage it rather than abuse them. They will one day become a brand many Nigerians will wish to either buy their Line or Port to. Glo network is best at my present location(Pankshin,in Plateau state).
