PDP’s funeral will hold March 28 - APC Chairman Oyegun says

National Chairman of APC, Jonh Odigie-Oyegun says his party will have a proper funeral ceremony for PDP come March 28th. He said this in Port Harcourt at the zonal rally of APC today March 14th.

"We were in the North-west yesterday. You know the North-West is the home base of the in-coming president. South-South is also important to us because it is the home of the out-going president.  These zones are crucial. I thank you for your support, courage and resilience. You have survived your oppressors despite all odds. Goodluck Jonathan is our son and brother but he has failed us as a region and Nigeria. So we want to send him on an honourable retirement. I know you will all support the APC in this venture because we must send him home. PDP is confused and disoriented.

According to International security analyst for Nigeria Security Network, Ryan Cummings, an ISIS linked twitter handle hours ago tweeted about the reclaiming of Gamboru in  Borno state from Chad and other Mercenary forces which make up the Joint Military Task Force.

Bomb blast rocks Internally Displaced Persons camp in Maiduguri

Two bomb explosions rocked the Yerwa Government secondary school which hosts the Internally Displaced Persons from Bama in Maiduguri, Borno state  this evening. Many feared dead. More details later.

Televangelist Creflo Dollar deletes website begging for $65m jet after online backlash

Popular televangelist and founder of World Changers Church International, Creflo Dollar, has deleted the website where he was begging people to donate $65million for him to buy a brand new luxurious. (read story here). He also deleted the Gofundme page where he asked 200,000 people to donate $300 each for him to acquire the Gulfstream G650 airplane, following backlash from online community.

Iraqi Special forces have started torturing and beheading captured ISIS militants in apparent revenge attacks - and now are sharing photos on social media. The images above was posted on instagram by someone who claimed to be an Iraqi soldier and showed the disembodied heads and mutilated bodies of the militants. Incredible moment 'dead' premature baby came back to life after mum begged to cuddle him for a few last moments

First-time parents Kate and David Ogg were heartbroken when they were told one of their twins - born 2 minutes apart at just 26 weeks - had stopped breathing and had just moments to live. Thinking it was the only time they would have with the tiny boy they had already decided to name Jamie, Kate asked to be able to hold the lifeless child, and told David to climb into the hospital bed for a tender embrace.

Lekki Robbery: Statement by Gov. Fashola totally irresponsible - Reuben Abati

Presidential Media aide, Reuben Abati has described as totally irresponsible the statement made by Governor of Lagos state Babatunde Fashola that the success of the robbery incident that occurred in Lekki yesterday March 12th was as a result of the drafting of all police formation in the state to protect President Jonathan who was in the state when the robbery incident occurred. "We consider the statement attributed to Governor Fashola as grossly and utterly irresponsible. We expect that a man of his status who is the Governor of a state should speak more responsibly. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever that the entire police formation in a state would be deployed to protect the president of Nigeria.

EFCC clears the air on fake document ordering probe of APC leaders

EFCC has released a statement saying that the letter which surfaced online today suggesting that President Jonathan had ordered the agency to probe the financial operations of APC leaders, is fake. I will never in my life support violence against women but the look on the face of that woman on the left has me in stitches. Lol. So here's the story. A man who spent close to $10,000 on flight, accommodation and other expenses to meet a woman he met online attacked her after claiming she didn't look anything like her profile picture. Left is the woman, 32 year old Xiaojin Tuan and right is the photo she used on her online profile...lol

The man, 35 year old Huang Mao, said he felt deceived because he thought he was coming to meet the 'goddess' she described herself to be in her WeChat snap.
