All Boko Haram camps have completely been wiped out- Defence HQ

This is some cheering news from the Defence Headquarters. At its maiden media chat which held in Abuja yesterday September 9th, The Director of Defence Information (DDI), Colonel Rabe Abubakar said the military is winning the war against Boko Haram as all the camps of the terror group have been destroyed.

He said:
“These terrorists have been subdued, even if they are adopting other means and as they are re-strategizing, we are also doing the same. We have been coordinating on the air and ground assault to make sure that these terrorists' hideouts are completely decimated.
As I am speaking to you all the terrorists camps have completely been wiped out.
So right now they are completely in disarray, having no command and control of where to plan. We have even taken over the their camps and most of them have abandoned their bases and blended within towns and communities.
We are making a lot of headways and a lot of achievements and people should know that Boko Haram is no longer strong enough to hold ground.

He added that:
"Very soon this issue of whether they are in control of any territory in Nigeria or not will come to the open. We must begin to think of the nation. I am assuring you that they will never again recapture the territory taken from them, because what is happening right now with the deployment of troops, equipment and morale will ensure that."

  9. There might still be some hidden camps, if you ask me. And what is it that i heard on the news; Boko haram members released and handed to the Borno state governor? Is he going to preach the gospel to them?

  17. Don't be too hasty to speak my friends. You MUST catch their financiers. Rest assured this is going to be a recurring problem for the north and Nigeria as a whole and must continually be dealt with with strategy and intelligence. The old government really messed things up for this country. These bastards gained ground cos the eastern / south south bastards who were in charge were too busy looting. May God punish GEJ and his entire cabinet. Thieving bastards.

  27. Bravo to our military as this is a very great news from them. The re-strategising as mentioned in the message should be concentrated on to make sure that the announcement of victory is effective and sustained. Also good and effective policing of the territory is very necessary so that we could sleep well and resettlement of the displaced persons could be very fast.
Governments should rise up to harness our resources and build these areas effectively. May God save and help Nigeria. Toks

Soon they'll squabble for food, once they are annihilated, we can then conduct investigation to track their sponsors. Well done guys!

  36. This is a cheering news and we hope it holds water this time around. The security forces should go a step further to mobilise resources to tackle those of them that have blended with the society because these ones are as dangerous if not more deadly than the ones at Sambisa forest. God bless our soldiers.

Which group of jesters are these clowns we call defence chiefs for God's sake. have they captured shekau? have they recovered the chibok girls? they just sit in their defence Hq with their pot belly and started broadcasting anything they like. Harry Bubu should relocate these men to sambisa forest and never to come back until they find shekau dead or alive!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Well, once we stop hearing of bomb attacks, we would believe. Bearing in mind that we are often a reactive people in this part of the world, I recommend that they military does not go to sleep because except it becomes a case of total surrender, the enemy would always re-enforce.
