The bean song

Article was not written by me. It's an advertorial. Read below...
"If you went to boarding school like I did, then you should know the famous beans song. You see, once upon a time, I like any other child who finished primary school dreamt of going to boarding house. We were gulled with beautiful stories of interesting escapades and a beaming box full of provisions. I for one wasn’t prepared for the food we were given though. I had to endure eating beans Monday to Friday!
The most beautiful part about it is how we made the best of it! In our food agony was born, the award winning “Beans Song”. So as we chewed and swallowed, we sang our dear Beans Song to feel better. For those of you who haven’t heard of the notorious beans song, this is it- And it’s in Yoruba! (Sorry) LOL.

Lojo Monday, ewa! Lojo Tuesday, ewa! Lojo Wednesday ewa noni

Lojo Thursday, ewa, lowo Friday, ewa, lojo Saturday ewa noni…
Oh! Such fun times… All my story boils down to this interesting bit of news...
Three Crowns Milk has decided to get the children to start school in a fun way, with its Back to School Competition! (This time, thank goodness it won’t be a beans song).

To participate, all you have to do is, send in a video of your child doing his /her own version of the “Don’t you wish” song from the Three Crowns Milk T.V Advert to threecrownscompetition@gmail.comfrom the 3rd of August to the 31st of August. Your kid must be between the age 3years to 6years old.

The more exciting and creative the videos are, the better the chances of winning! Every single day, entry videos will be announced on our Facebook page, so that you can be sure your video is in.

The 5 most exciting and creative videos will be selected and uploaded on the Three Crowns’ Facebook page on the 28th of August 2015. These 5 winning videos will win shopping vouchers worth N50, 000 each. Now, how cool is that! Imagine what N50, 000 can buy! -New bag packs, new uniforms, socks, shoes, books, stationeries, provisions, school fees… you name it! - Everything new, for your child to resume school fresh and ready.

So mums, what are you waiting for? Get your kids having fun and winning all the way!
