A UK couple, Jessica Stubbins and her husband Tom have described the moment they welcomed their baby girl named Lucy at the entrance to Scunthorpe General Hospital without medical help.

CCTV caught the moment Jessica delivered her daughter all by herself the minute she walked through first set of doors at the hospital. Her husband Tom missed the moment as he was still in the parking lot searching for a place to park.

Flood Alert: NEMA advises States to evacuate communities along River Niger

The National Emergency Management Agency issued a press release today, advising States to immediately evacuate communities along the river Niger, due to intense rainfall and rise in water level that could lead to severe and disastrous flooding. The statement read,

Following intense rainfall and rises in water level, the National Emergency Management Agency has advised communities along the river Niger to evacuate immediately to safer ground over the likelihood of floods that may occur at any moment from now. DG of NEMA, M. Sani Sidi said the agency has received alerts of the flood from information given by the authorities in the Republic of Niger that the present water level in the river has reached a point that may result in the flood that could be compared with the unfortunate experience of 2012.

Obasanjo denies attending PDP convention committee inauguration

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has denied media reports that he made a surprise appearance at the PDP ‎caretaker committee meeting which held at the Yar'Adua Center Abuja yesterday August 5th. A Niger Delta militant group known as the Niger Delta Revolutionary Crusaders, NDRC, has issued a statement threatening to kill Muslims and attack mosques in their region if the Factional leader of Boko Haram set, Abu Masab el Barnaw and his members carry out their planned attacks on Christians and Churches. Barnaw yesterday released an audio message in which he said the vision of their sect was to kill christians and attack churches. In a swift reaction, spokesperson of the militant group, W O I Izon-Ebi, warned that the Islamic leader should ot carry out his plans otherwise they will retaliate. Cristiano Ronaldo has appeared to hit back at compatriot and former coach Jose Mourinho with a cryptic Instagram post after Mourinho criticized Ronaldo's touch line behavior during the EURO 2016 final.

Ronaldo was stretchered out of the field in the first half due to a knee injury in the match and came out in the final minutes of extra time to bark instructions at his teammates- to inspire them to hold on to their 1-0 lead. But Mourinho , who weeks ago claimed Ronaldo wasn't in his top three players of all time , criticized Ronaldo , saying his touch line antics didn't do his team any favors at all.

Former President Jonathan visits former President kaunda

Former President Goodluck Jonathan and Head of African Union Elections Observation Mission to Zambia's August 11 general elections visited former Zambian President, Kenneth David Kaunda in his country home in Lusaka Saturday evening.

Black 18 year old teen shot and killed by the Police in Chicago

An 18 year old Chicago black teen, Paul O'Neal who was in a stolen car was being chased by the police and fatally shot in the back. In the video above, after the police chase, the teen ran out of the car and was chased on foot by cops who eventually apprehended him and cuffed his arms, with blood oozing from his back. Initially the police didn't know the teen had been shot, when they realized he had been shot, they all became confused and asked each other who may have shot the teenager.
