President Buhari met with Service Chiefs at the Defence House Abuja earlier today. At the end of the meeting, Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Usman Jubrin, spoke to state house correspondents. He said their meeting was to brief President Buhari about the current security situation in Nigeria.
“Since he was inaugurated as the President and Commander in Chief, this is the first time that we are formally meeting him to give a general security briefing of the country and that went very well. i think we have been able to provide insight into the security situation of Nigeria" he said
On the presidential directive to move the military command to Borno state, Vice Admiral Jubrin said the military chiefs will go back and work on the directive and then get back to President Buhari.
