There was a sit down protest in Jos this morning by youths in the state for non-payment of salaries, insecurity, etc. They are protesting on Yakubu Gowon way all the way to the Old Airport Junction. More pics after the cut...

    6. Other states should follow suit wit dis. Definitely dis is unacceptable for a worker deserves his or her wage.

    7. Will the General go personally to get the money back? People who are appointed to get the money back, are more corrupt than those who stole the money.

  12. The protest was against the Incecant killing of berom people by fulani herds men, they say the security men who are suppose to secure them do little or nothing. The protest wasn't about unpaid salaries

  21. Please get it right. That protest was strictly against the killings in The state focusing on three communities Kadarko, Riyom and Barkin LadI.
It was never about non payment .

  24. GET YOUR STORIES RIGHT BEFORE BROADCASTING THEM. THIS IS A WRONG REPRESENTATION OF WHAT THIS PROTEST IS ALL ABOUT. FOR CLARITY SAKE, THE SIT OUT WAS FOR KILLING AND NOT FOR NON PAYMENT
