Passengers sleep on the floor at the airport as their flights have either been rescheduled or cancelled due to fuel scarcity. Some of them have been at the airport since morning. More photos after the cut...
Don't they have houses, homes or hotels to go to, must they rub it in the faces of the world that the country is not working?!! Did thy not know there was fuel scarcity and that there was a chance of this happening?!! SMH
Sebi una talk say the airports are not clean? Y are they sleeping and seating on the floor now? Nijas please appreciate ppl when they make the difference. Up Stella Oduah! I know u will succeed as a 'senatoress'
So true! I have a flight schedule for 12:30,and I got to the airport by 9am, we are told after checking in our luggages that the flight has been rescheduled to 8pm, but we are lodged at airport hotel! We didn't pay extra for the lodging and feeding! I hope we get to fly tonight.
Let them go and board buses now no be by force to fly as no aviation fuel at least bus thermals do still operate just topped a thousand or two to their old price
All powerful and merciful Father. You are the God of Justice, Love and peace, you rule over all the nations of the earth. Power and might are in your hands and no one can withstand you. We present our country Nigeria before you, we praise and thank you for you are the source of all we have and are.
We are sorry for all the sins we have committed and the good deeds we have failed to do. In your loving forgiveness, keep us safe from the punishments we deserved. Lord, we are weighed down not only by uncertainties but also by moral, economic and political problems. we are weighed down by clueless and inept leaders. Listen to the cries of your people who confidently turn to you.
God of infinite goodness, our strength in adversity, our health in weakness, our comfort in sorrow. Be merciful, to us your people; spare this nation Nigeria from chaos, anarchy and doom. Spare us bad leaders. Bless us with your kingdom of Justice, Love and Peace.
This issue of scarcity is nothing to write home about, I just pray that the marketers and other parties involved should reach a compromise before this scarcity weigh people down and paralyses businesses.
