The Nigerian army says thousands of foreign
currency was found on a Boko Baram leader killed during its operation in
Dikwa, Borno state on May 23rd. Read the official statement and see the photos after the cut...
Thousands of Euro currency was found on the body of a terrorist commander after troops successfully repelled a terrorist on Mafa towards the border. The terrorist who is also an Amir by status and believed to be of foreign descent, is among about 30 terrorist fighters who died in the encounter while many others fled with wounds.
The terrorists also lost a number weapons and equipment including the captured 13 rifles, a machine gun, rocket propelled grenade tubes and several other assorted ammunition.
A Toyota Bufallo vehicle was also
recovered from the terrorists. Two of their armored vehicles were also destroyed in the battle.
The only casualty on the side of own troops was damaged equipment.
Mopping up operations is ongoing in the general area.
Meanwhile, the offensive on all terrorists’ hideouts is continuing in many fronts.
This is serious. Lindaobserve

ReplyDeleteon Sunday a woman gave a testimony in my church that her husband who is one of the soldiers at mafa in Borno state saw some terrorist coming. she said before the terrorist came the the soldiers had divided themselves into groups , three soldiers in a group.. she said when her husband tried to shoot his gun failed he tried and tried but his gun kept failing, he then told the other two soldiers in his own group that they should all go to me meet another group of soldiers due to the failure of his riffle. To cut the long story short they went and after the attack when they got back to there initial position they everything scattered..... there was a bomb explosion at that same point her husband was suppose stay to fight the terrorist ....if not that his riffle failed

ReplyDeleteGovernment should use the money to pay for fuel subsidies.
ReplyDeleteThis is off the record but I just have to say this here: following the fuel crisis in Nigeria which I'm not going to waste my time explaining the cause as Okonjo Iwuala already did albeit ethnic minded and gullible ones refused to rationalize nor comprehend. My main concern is the wickedness and monopoly of the Nigerian oil industry by a select few. Particularly Feminine Otedola and Wale Tinubu. This crop of wicked elites have a sole contract of fossil fuel supply with trafalgar and vitriol MNOC (which ideally shouldn't be). The yoruba run Shara reporters and other media have suddenly gone mum since the suffering of Nigerians over fuel scarcity began and I ask why? Rather uninformed and gullible Nigerians are calling for GEJ head! What you ethnic minded fellow fail to realise is that this divide of ethnic groups is just an "othering" structure for sole purpose of manipulation and exploitation of the unsuspecting masses. Rather than condemn the aft of these elites which are mainly from the northern and south westerner extraction we are letting ethnic divide cloud our sense of judgment. I am neither from this area but I do have in laws there and all of is are being affected, fuel scarcity or any other grueling situation wouldn't ask your tribe before affecting you in this country! The problem of Nigeria is beyond the FG. Even with Buhari ascension to the presidency, this sort of sabotage will continue as this elites care only for their pocket and greed- hence the reason they have refused the power sector and our refinery to function. Until we see the real enemy and tackle the real enemy, we will continue in this suffer head and do nothing but play blame games, sensationalism and ethnic drag down! ....ifeanyi ubah act (whatever his motive is is irrelevant) is a proof that there should not be any reason whatsoever for this scarcity except for greed and wickedness. More frightening is the fact that our youths have despised knowledge and embraced ethnic sentiments and irrationality- the comments on the international reaction post attest to this! Cursing the out going president rather than calling for the heads of all past leaders including GEJ for the underdevelopment of the country like we were once a developed state and the outgoing administration took is back to stone age! We are nor yet ripe to take on the task of bettering our lot. These old elites and cult will continue preying on our ethnic sensitivity while reaping us of our common wealth!
ReplyDeleteAre u high or something? Saying something that is out of the box.
DeleteThumbs up our gallant soldiers. May the good Lord continue to strengthen you guys.
ReplyDeleteI just wish we don't even hear anything called boko haram again in Nig
ReplyDeleteWho ever have boko haram those monies will swell alive and then die!
