Angry LIB reader shares chat messages between her husband and other women

From a LIB reader who thinks no man is faithful...:-)
Dear LIB readers, I have always thought my husband was faithful until I saw this in his FB box. We have been married and blessed with 2kids and he acts like a saint all the time. I am shocked at this and more upset because the conversations are with both married and single ladies. What can I do in a situation like this? Do I just stay mute and move on like nothing happened or talk to him about it. Even if I do. I know his still going to deny it..

  20. Going into the net with your relationship issue is like demeaning what you have. The world they say now, is a global village. Mind you; a village, not a town or city. Meaning everyone can have access to everyone information and anyone business can become everyone's business. In here, we all are the elders, even the priest of the village. Yes! Everyone is entitle to say and speak to whoever freely. What you should do should have being to talk to your husband after you've prayed about it. Just brace yourself for both the negative and positive response. Oh maybe sympathetic ones.

  22. Nobody forced her to marry him.....,she should carry her cross alone and not come here to show us this. which sensible woman doesn't know all men are cheats..., if you can endure u stay and not complain...., if you cant, you leave. Everybody must not get married.

    ReplyDelete
  23. My dear cheaters can't change cos a leopard can neva change its spot so pretend as if u don't knw wts going on until he will rope himsef in...!!!! Pele dear.

  24. And since u wnted to be curious to see if ur husband cheats..you found out so wat next....u shud hv known dat majority of men cheat..if dey aint cheating with a woman..perhaps dey re cheating on u with a man..its no use trying to hurt urself..just talk over it like a family

    ReplyDelete
  25. Sad. I think you should have a talk with him. Do no shout or cry. Be as calm as possible. Let him know that you know. Ask him why he did it? Discuss you sex life. Is there something he wants that you are not doing etc. Am not saying it's not going to hurt believe me it will. Pray about it. Tell God how you feel. Also examine urself. Mayb u r holding back too. You can be ur hubby's whore(Forgive my choice of words) am sure u know what I mean. Some women are too reserved or shy in d bedroom. Men love sex pls don't let them get it outside. Am not making excuses 4ur hubby. I will probably slap him if I see him, but ask urself what you want. Am sure u want to save ur marriage. Do not stay mute bc u will only suffer in silence and then resentment sets it and dear wife it's so dangerous believe me.

  26. Statistics say most pple (men and women) wud cheat if they knew they'll never get caught.
Fidelty takes discipline and self control which many people don't hv... We catch our men cos they don't cover their tracks whc to me is annoying bcos I think its distasteful and disrespectful.

    Sigh! I just tire

What if he sees it and decides to chase you out of his house?
    What will you do?
Being unfaithful is not a good thing but bringing your family out is worse.
I can comment on this because i think bringing his chat here is wrong.
    Stop checking his facebook messages.

  34. Useless men...and even more useless ladies always flinging themselves into married men's arms.... My dear wife!!! Dont ruin ur childrens happiness because of this man. God will still keep his punishment for him. Its sad but sometimes they say happiness comes from knowing less :(

  36. Are you kidding me? What sort of question are you asking woman? He is your husband for crying out loud. You should talk to him about it. Let him know how much it hurts, if he repents forgive and move on. If he tries to defend his actions, still forgive and move on. The most important thing is talking to him about it. Best wishes dear!!

  43. this is realy sad, for a married man to be indulging with other women carelessly on social media, my dear fellow wife, to live long and have peace, desist from reading your husband private msgs, its not right, u are invading his privacy, am sure u have seen some things or suspected him b4 going to his fone, am so hurting for u, so i can imagine how hurt u must have felt seeing such a cheap betrayal, if at all he wants anything from those women its cheap sex, thats all, most men are selfish and unfaithful, just be a good wife, love him and keep praying for him, ur children should be ur consolation, be there for them and forget whatever ur husband does with his fone. MEN WILL ALWAYS BE MEN AND CHEATING/UNFAITHFULNESS IS IN THERE GENES! QP.

  44. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, its common dis days oo,

  45. Women create a fairy tale world in their heads where their husbands are faithful to them. I saw many messages like this, the messages lost their shock value over time. This I know, no matter how saintly or perfect a guy seems to be, he's cheating on his girlfriend/wife either with old flames or new flames, but there will always be flames in a man's life and it's hardly ever one or two other ladies, say maybe 5 at least. Women, wake up and be true to yourself. Being in a relationship or marriage means you have chosen to accept the man that way. Men take vows they have no intention of keeping. If you don't want to accept it, then don't be in a relationship, or you have an open relationship with no hard feelings.

  46. This cheating issue.... My dad cheated on my mum.. had another child sef and she stayed. My sisters husbands cheat on them (i don't think they know). My uncles cheat. So when my boyfriend cheated... I was mad and hurt(the feeliing is so painful esp when u r faithful) but I'm still with him after begging and drama.. (Still can't wrap my head arnd why he did it)

Guess what... I don't know any different.
I don't know it can be better.

Oh these are all Doting, Intelligent, Accomplished, Christian Men. Who take care of their immediate families very well

    Any ideas?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hmmm men, loose fellows, if ma husband wants me to stay faithful in our marriage then he should too, if cheating is d way, lets both cheat then. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  52. LADIES!!!! TRUST ME WHEN I SAY NO MAN IS 100% LOYAL... LOVLIEST HUSBANDS AT HOME ARE THE SMARTEST CHEATS... THEY DO EVERYTHING NORMAL & YOU CAN NEVER KNOW EXCEPT HIS GRACE HAS EXPIRED..LOL.. THEY DON'T HIDE THEIR PHONES OR STAY OUT LATE, BUT THEY HAVE THEIR MEETING WITH THE OUTSIDE CHICK.. THE CHIC WON'T EVEN TRY TO CHAT HIM UP WHEN HE'S AT HOME.. MOST OF THE CHICS UNDERSTAND AND DON'T TRY TO ACT BITCHY. HE DOES ALL THE CALLINGS AND ALL THE BOOKINGS, BUT HE STILL COMES HOME WHEN YOU NEED HIM..

EVEN MOST MEN WHO ARE KNOWN TO BE STRICT AND PRINCIPLED, HAVE TIME FOR THEIR PLAY TOOLS..DON'T BE DECEIVED..

LIKE RICHARD SAID IN HIS ARTICLE, TO SAVE YOURSELF OF HEARTACHES, BELIEVE HE HAS ALREADY CHEATED AND FORGIVE HIM EVEN BEFORE HE DOES IT... ***SHARON STONE***

  53. Trust me when i say, don't say anything. Say nothing about it. Just keep watching. He will deny it and make you look like you have a bad mind and you shouldn't be suspecting him. He will deny it and you will not achieve anything but create bad blood between you guys. Let it go, I know it's hard, but pretend as much as you can that you didn't see anything. And try not to go through his messages, cos i assure you, there will always be something or the other that would upset you. It's not worth it, he's not worth it, those women are not worth it. Make yourself happy as best as you know how and ignore that part of your life.

    ReplyDelete
  54. stay in there and fuck your husband well. If you don't she will continue helping you

    ReplyDelete
  55. Stop digging and u ll enjoy ur marriage. Men do flirt once in a while, no man is 100% faithful so please save ur marriage n stop acting detective.

    ReplyDelete
  56. So the best thing for u to do is bring ur relationship out to d public? Pls ensure u let us know when next u guys are having sex or when u guys have a quarrel as couple since we need to know everything in ur home.

  57. Madam focus on Ur marriage and leave this rubbish....

    ReplyDelete
  58. Dear Married Woman, it is very wrong of you to shame your husband like this. Communication is key in every marriage. its better to talk to ur husband rather than posting his private messages for the whole world to see.

  65. men and lies,,,,, uhm

    ReplyDelete
  66. Too bad. i can imagine how hurt she feels to read an erotic conversation btw her husband and a married woman.

My opinion is to ignore this message, spice it up a little (e.g those things that you don't do or maid does wash, cook, sex,) and back it up with prayer. It may work wonders. If you lash out, it won't stop him from using another strategy.

    ReplyDelete
  67. why would you check his FB inbox?na u buy the phone give am. sometimes it is the ladies that cause wahala for themselves.......

    idoma boi said so

    ReplyDelete
  68. I don't comment on LIB so please know it's important for me to help.

I am in a similar position however we are not officially married.

Don't even make the mistake of confronting him.
He will do it and be more careful meanwhile your relationship will suffer since its a shocker for you.

First know it's not about you. You didn't do anything wrong. Go meet someone he respects so much, forget that don't get a third party involved shit, you need to secure your relationship for yourself and your kids.

If possible meet your religious head but not someone related to his work. And hopefully not his family member. Someone he really respects, show the person and ask for advice. Don't suggest to the person, say you don't know what to do.

Beyond that pray and maybe fast that God changes him fast. Don't confront him ever.I can't ask you to pretend that all is well, just manage to be a good person and be calm, a lot of women go through shit like this and are cool with it. I can't be cool with it but I can be wise about it. That should be your story...peace

    ReplyDelete
  69. Oh you should congfront him! However, before you do, do this:

Tell him that you have a friend who is cheating on her husband. That you are very upset that she's not faithful. Wait and see how he runs his mouth, which he most certainly will! After he finishes his lashing, show him the messages. Let him crawl into his chair.

He is a pig. He is not only seeing one woman, but multiple women. And from the message, it sounds like he had a threesome with his friend. Madam, you have your hands full with this one. How can you not say anything when your husband is seeing multiple women. And you know it is more than the ones you found on facebook. How about work? Church? Instagram/twitter? I'm sure he has many there as well.

  71. Oh oh! Tough one. I always believe if u go searching for something, u will find something and you may not like wat u see. Unfortunately, you will have to talk to him about your findings. He was only flirting (which most of us are guilty of.) Pray to God for direction and if necessary, seek a professional counselor. Good luck!

  76. THIS IS 75% REASON FOR MOST BROKEN HOME, ANY MAN THAT TRULY LOVES AND RESPECT HIS WIFE AND MARRIAGE WILL NOT LOOK OUT TALK MORE OF SLEEPING WITH ANOTHER WOMAN. MEN SHOULD LEARN TO BE FAITHFUL TO THEIR WIFES. IF I CAN STAY FAITHFUL IN THE MARRIAGE THEN MY HUSBAND SHOULD DO LIKEWISE, ESPECIALLY FOR THE 1 THAT HAS BORE U A CHILD/CHILDREN, LAYED DOWN HER LIFE AND GIVES HER ALL FOR A CHILD THAT WILL BEAR YOUR NAME. WOMEN DESERVES TO BE TREATED AS QUEEN,MEN PLEASE RESPECT AND APPRECIATE THEM. GIVE YOUR WIFE THE BEST TREATMENT, SHOW HER LOVE, TAKE HER OUT, BUY HER GIFTS, MAKE LOVE TO HER, PRAY TOGETHER, SHARE YOUR PROBLEMS WITH HER, TALK TO HER WHEN SHE'S MOODY, PLAY LIKE KIDS, GIST, GOSSIP, SCOLD EACH OTHER, QUAREL AND MAKEUP IMMEDIATELY, DONT GIVE ROOMS FOR SUSPICIOUS ACT, LET HER ACCESS TO YOUR FONES, SEND HER SMS,CALL HER OFTEN, CHOOSE CLOTHS TO WEAR FOR HER, CHOOSE HAIR STYLES FOR HER, MAKE HER FEEL YOUNG,COMMEND HER COOKING, ASSIST HER IN THE KITCHEN, TAKE HER ON DATES, MENTION IT WHEN SHE WRONGS YOU,TELL HER YOU LOVE HER EVERYDAY, TELL HER SHE'S THE ONLY ONE IN YOUR LIFE. BE A CARING FATHER AND HUSBAND. THEN YOU SURE WILL HAVE A HAPPY HOME.

NB: WHEN YOUR WIFE IS HAPPY WITH YOU, HER HEART PRAYS FOR YOU.

    GOD BLESS EVERY GOOD MAN.

  78. Honestly my dear havent ur husband been treating u fine? From ur statement he has been a saint, why then dig for dirt, why look for unrest in ur marriage? Now ur mind is torn apart, u aint happy, well confronting him about it could save ur marriage or destroy it. Just pray and keep ur home happy so that he would always find joy and happiness in ur arms, keep making ur home the first place he thinks of when he closes from work, make ur home his safe haven.

    ReplyDelete

  118. This is so immature.I can't believe this. Why would anybody post this on social media? For a bunch of strangers to decide for her what to do? smh!
Woman think! Stop drying your dirty laundry in public. Address the issue with your husband or leave it be. There 3 people in a marriage you, your husband and God. Talk to God if you can't talk to your man. Next time when you are angry, take time out and think things through before you act.

    ReplyDelete
  119. He's loyal, some guys just like to flirt via fb and bb, but would not dare act it out in real life, she should not worry. Just make home more exciting

  123. Nne..dis niggas ain't loyal..me av learnt to stay off my guy's fone..for my sake. I cant be getting upset everytime cos surely, i know i will see something smoothing that will make me bitter. Talk to him, tell him how this conversation makes you feel and also how disappointed you are. But dont raise your voice at him cause it will complicate matters. Just be as calm as possible, he will sober up and regret his actions.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Best Bet, Don't talk to him about it because he would then understand you went through his messages.

Which you were not supposed to go through in the first place if you trusted him.

But of cos, curiosity kills the cat.

Act maturely, he would turn around. there's no place like home trust me.

Make the memories he have of you pleasant and don't nag.

    He would definitely turn around...

I wish you all the best.

  127. The man is not serious. He's just a player. If u talk to him he will be angry u went through his phone. If u don't u will keep hurting yourself. Infact talk to him. I can imagine how you are feeling. Please don't fight him. Pray for him too. All the best.

    ReplyDelete
  128. They all deny and say they are faithful. Mine even tells me if I don't trust him he can't trust me (reverse psychology) to keep you imprisoned in thinking that you are wrong. If your guts tells you strongly that your hubby is cheating, most likely he is. How do you explain when your hubby doesn't sleep with you for 4 to 5 months and you sleep on thesame bed. When you ask him, he gets into angry fits and says you're accusing him. Just pray sis and handover to God.I think some of the men think that if its only a fling , then they are not cheating. After all it's nothing serious at the other end

    ReplyDelete
  129. Chaii....Your hubby know try ooo,u should report him to his parents with enough proof den make ur final decision.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Hmmm na wa o! May God deliver us from all these type of men. Haba! Some married men eh!

So the next thing to do is publish their chat online.

    ReplyDelete
  139. What were you looking for in your hubby's FB? If you want to be heartbroken, then keep reading and you'll get yourself a very serious HP cos some women would send msg to your partner even when he is not interested in them. For example, looking deep into this conversation you shared shows that your hubby is not in any relationship with the lady currently . What I advice you do is pray for your man not to stray.

    ReplyDelete
  140. This is flirting and not cheating.

    ReplyDelete
  141. My own opinion sha, stop going through your hubby inbox, sms and etc so that you wont see anything that will kill you quick

    ReplyDelete
  142. The first chat is clear enough.... might be his ex before u two get married but on a second tot why going thru his phone? U will definitely see something that will hurt u just like if ur husband try doing so to u he will see the same thing .. Am a lady and I wonder why we don't like minding our business i.e taking care of our home. Ur husband attitude still remain d same, he respect u and has never giving u any reason to doubt him and u choose to find one urself. Let me ask u.... are u a saint?

    ReplyDelete
  143. Just like mine pretends and swears all d time he doesn't cheat but yet shows all d signs of a cheating man.. And a very smart one, u cnt catch or see anytin in his phone yet he always clings to it... Deletes his msgs after reading. One day God wil do it His way n he sure knows i cant live an extra day wit him aftr d revelation.

I'm so so sorry.

  161. My dear sister, please dont get yourself worked up,just let it go because he will deny it try not to be sad,my hubby lied to both married & single women that he married his wife because his F-I-L begged him to & that his divorce is in a few weeks, hmmm what men do because of expired p****

    ReplyDelete
  162. Dis is too much y go dis extra to publish. If every woman shud come out and say her own she wud marvel bt it has nt come to u publishing ur husband conversation. He is still ur hubby u nd to respect that and also the sanctity of marriage

    ReplyDelete
  163. Listen,
There is hardly anything here to destroy your marriage over. Two things, he is only playing with the idea, and he is got the potential to cheat if and whenever the opportunity arises.
Now, on your part, you definitely can't stay mute about it. But, you must approach with caution. Don't make it Contentious, but stay firm. Hey honey, are u chatting with strange women and talking about s e X? You may say this even as you walk by him...don't wait for an answer or lies, irrelevant.
Move on, be happy and enjoy your life.

    ReplyDelete
  164. First of all...do you NOT know that evidence illegal acquired IS NOT ADMISSIBLE in court? If you had feelings your man was stepping out, you should have asked and NOT SNOOP! Now you've found what you were looking for (hopefully) would you abandon your marriage and 2 kids for another woman to reap where you sowed? How do you heal from the wounds and lack of trust you've created between you and your hubby. You'll remain paranoid coz you think he's cheating, he'll stay guarding his social media accounts and media items with his life. I tell you...snooping has never helped and NEVER WILL! Carry your cross

    ReplyDelete
  165. I can relate with this woman, my husband does same and does not see anything wrong with it, i think he does it just to boost his ego and also to know if hes still desired, its pathetic i know but what can i do,my advice to you is to pray and hand over everything to God, let me know that you know and you're not happy about it.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Hmmmnm....too difficult to delve into. Issues with couples can best be resolved by both parties. Btw, there are still faithful men out there. Joshe

    ReplyDelete
  167. My dear, i symphatize with you. I too was a victim of this a few months back. My husband used to act like he was holier than the Pope!
I have been married for less than 3 years and blessed with a wonderful son. I accidentally stumbled on messages between him and a whore on facebook and bbm to which i confronted him and all he could come up with was "the messages were not meant for him"....long story short, now i know he is just as useless as the other men out there and i can assure you your hubby would deny those messages even if Jesus Christ asked him for explanation.
My advise is you move on, focus on your children and leave him for God to judge or walk out of the marriage if you feel you can handle that.
its unfortunate but i now know that the man i married is not the man i thought i married....in summary, men are lying, cheating bastards and i wont be surprised to see more women in heaven than men!!

    ReplyDelete
  168. I dont know if your husband is cheating on you via those text messages; however, since you didnt meet him a virgin, you are fully aware that he had girlfriends before you...because he married you does he prevent him from talking about the past with his exes? thats the question. In your shoes, I wouldnt say anything bad to him.

    ReplyDelete
  169. Nawa ooooo!! All dese men dat play saint, yet na dem do pass.
    Take heart my sister!!!

    ReplyDelete
  170. Hmmmmm men are wicked. I will poison him .if its happnd to b my husbad.. not been faithful. Cheats

    ReplyDelete
  171. Ewo!!!
A married man huh??..lord help us,where d heck has "being faithful nd dedicated to one partner gone to?""#bbm confused face smiley.

    ReplyDelete
  172. It is better if she doesn't jump to conclusions, for the sake of her peace of mind, the happiness of her children and the stability of her home. She should just go down on her knees and pray to God to protect her husband from unnecessary distractions, while continuing to show him all the love, respect, support and encouragement expected of a wife.
